There's still a few people I need to play. Eevee for one. Otherwise I am an old man on the mountain waiting for my own personal Uub to show up and challenge me after 10 years.
That goes against my philosophy. If you can only win because nobody is challenging you with your weakness, then you are not really good. Real skill means taking on your weaknesses and conquering them.
I would rather everybody try to use what they think are my weaknesses against me because it will push me to improve and defeat them. When someone tries to figure me out, I don't go "oh no, now I'm going to lose," I think "Awesome, now I can figure out how to beat this."
If you're playing a tournament and only want to win grand finals, then that is a concern. That is why some tournament players hide their playing. But immediate victory is at odds with overall growth. If you don't confront your areas of improvement, then you'll actually be weaker in the long run.
When you avoid those things, you will be helpless when somebody finally knows what they are doing. But if you've already seen it and dealt with it a dozen times it will be a walk in the park.
Of course, I invite everyone to try and do whatever they can to beat me. I plan on winning anyway. You aren't the only one who can adapt!
