  1. Yeah Ctrl is more like in the middle for disrespectful Tagers. I was expecting all sorts of 360 whiff > 360 whiff > 360 shenanigans from Deadliest because of it though.
  2. Most of the time I would be doing pretty good, then I would choke or mess up a Hotaru in the corner and then you would body me for 100 heat. I was looking to counter a lot of your D moves but you weren't using them the same times most Tagers do.
  3. Oh, I figured most Hakus would be running away. Maybe I should be switching it up then. But then I wouldn't be able to go nuts on Tager in the corner. I kept trying to bait 720s out of you in the corner but you would never bite. Same with Spark Bolt. You also played pretty respectfully.
  4. Ah, okay. Those were pretty good matches. GGs. You should check out the Haku / Tager matchup thread in the Haku subforum. We are discussing various Tager things. Do you have a harder time normally against Hakumen when he just runs away?
  5. Damn. I was in the middle of the most intense match with Deadliest and just as we hit the 3rd round he got disconnected.
  6. toan's been dodging every match nonstop for a while now
  7. Are you ready to get bodied yet.
  8. I meant her 6D and 2D. I treat them like Hazama's chains.
  9. I've just been cutting Lambda's swords lately. It doesn't do anything but it's hilarious.
  10. GGs someonewhodied. Nothing beats chasing Lambda around.
  11. Well, if I had to choose between 5 or 6 I would actually settle on 5. Tager and Haku have always had a close matchup, and it was actually the only matchup in Tager's favor in CT. It's 5-5, because it's lopsided in Tager's favor when he is in your face, and in Haku's when he's far away. (Although I feel that Tager has greater advantage when he is up close, than when Haku does when he's far away, since you get way less damage off random pokes and have to succeed in landing them more.) Kind of like Lambda and Haku. Someone once described it as being 7-3 in favor of whoever is in control at the time, so it washes out to 5-5. I expect Tager to have a better matchup in CP. Also for bursts, I remember when your own burst was basically a second burst for Nu since it would knock her full screen again.
  12. Ctrl pointed out you can go 2-1 on rounds, so maybe that is what the half means.
  13. Damn that was amazing. The commentary was also a good example of what it should be like. Most BB commentary for Americans is just "LOL THIS GAME".
  14. That's pretty much true for every Hakumen.
  15. you sure about that ;o also where can i find deadliest i hear he plays tager
  16. Maybe Ctrl should post one of our matches. But not the ones where I am Tager. :P Then again I am not sure if my playing is going to be a good example. Also, by yomi being part of the matchup, I meant that you can't just apply your tools in a textbook like manner as the matchup would suggest, there is more to it than that. The first time you play someone you can't rely on knowledge of the player so you have to rely just on the tools you have, but the more you play the more you can refine how you use your tools, so it's indirectly a part of it. So using your tools is just the foundation, but using yomi and player knowledge is not something separate but something you build on top of it. It is the next step. Plus, in Tager's case, a lot of his tools are only as effective as your yomi is.
  17. nooooo You know if you wait it is never going to happen. :P Just write it up now and come back later and add a few new posts when you find out more stuff.
  18. That's part of the matchup too though.
  19. You take those matches too hard. :P
  20. GGs Ctrl. Time to get dinner.
  21. 6-4 is too much. 5.5. We need to find more Tagers to play.
  22. nothing beats the feeling of calling out a jump with AC or 720ing someone through an attack
