  4. Airdashing in on Litchi w/ staff is generally a bad idea. Treat her like Guile or Sagat if you're trying to close the distance in the air. Careful and steady.

  8. He was all set to enact his plan last night, but he should have known it would not work on me.
  9. I don't really know Valk's pressure so I just saw the wolf having a seizure in front of me and tried to poke when I thought it looked like it was safe. I figured out eventually that doing a few of those wolf moves then dashing in for another one through the air was tight enough that I couldn't fit anything in there.

  11. That is because Tsubaki was better in almost every case. Only Blade and psycofang would ever use Zantetsu because they had some sort of sick obsession that I could never comprehend. It is 21 frames, but it feels so much slower because the animation is so distinctive. It's like a 20 foot billboard saying "HERE IT COMES!" But yeah that was pretty much it. anything > Zantetsu, lol I was already on the lookout for getting bodied by Hotaru's extra height so I was being careful. And 2D I used a lot but it didn't matter since I kept getting wolf'd.
  12. Yeah you helped, I had to figure out how to deal with his pressure without 6D. It felt like I had to keep you out at all costs and the moment you got me blocking I was gauranteed to get hit by wolf mixup. Also those angles he would come in on, you managed to always find some ridiculous path that completely avoided my attempts to space you out. At least I still had my throws. What about you, did you figure anything out.

  14. lol I've never heard that, ever. But I know what you mean with SF. It makes more logical sense since it fits real life more. You can't jump twice in the air, that needs to be explained, but not just jumping or hitting someone with a sweep.
  15. If she does it in the corner and isn't messing up then you are pretty much screwed. You will not be able to escape with the roll. The best you can do is just try to avoid getting placed in that situation. Apparently you can Yukikaze out of her 22B setup but I haven't played Kokonoe enough to tell you what that means.
  16. They must have used the 22b setup on you: Otherwise you eat the UB. Notice that there are certain ways to escape some setups listed in that post too (certain rolls, etc.) so familiarizing yourself with them will help. People are still discovering things though so there might be other ways to deal with it as time goes on. Also if you are somehow not right on top of the black hole when she does it, DO NOT JUMP, you will get sucked in instantly.
  17. I'd expect that proper spacing would help out a lot. But you also have to know which attacks to use in which situations.

  19. You don't even need to OD. And since you don't need burst it is a lot easier to land it during the match. There's been a ton of rounds where someone baits my astral, and walks right into the next one because they already think "ok I baited it, its safe."
  20. I'm looking at the frame data and I can't find it. WHERE @ Well, obviously you would need to make other changes if you buff the throw. I'm just saying that I would enjoy it more, personally. Right now after 1 2A you are out of throw range.

  22. You could say the same for Haku OD. Hmm. Looks like I jumped the gun here. I just realized I don't know the exact range in CP. Do you have the throw data on hand? My point, though, was that the throw nerf hurts his pressure a lot and giving him it back would be a modest change that makes a big difference. If he happens to have a greater throw range than everyone but Tager even now then it does not really make a difference as far as his pressure is concerned.
  23. Characters are affected differently by changes. Some are more reliant on certain mechanics than others. Like if there was a universal backdash nerf, you can bet it would affect Lambda more than Hakumen. And I was just responding to COR who said Hakumen has one of the greatest throw ranges, since that is not true anymore. The main reason I don't like his nerfed throw range is that the threat of throw makes a huge difference in his pressure and frame traps. Without it there is a lot less to worry about, and thus it is less likely for the opponent to get pressured into eating a frame trap.

  25. Giving him guard point would not make sense. But his throw range is like 0 pixels now so if they made it back to how it was that would be great.
