i'm trying to learn lambda too, i want to expand my character wallet. the player on here named l1fe is a really good lambda so he might be able to help you with any questions, i don't think he's playing ex though. and as a reminder, ping is having a get together tomorrow night in braintree so if you want to go post up.

he's a lot of fun. he's not as hard to play as i thought he would be, but seeing how he's a completely new character than i'm used to playing it'll take some time before i can use him in a match. anyone try unlimited mars mode yet? makes my brain hurt.

i'll be on, but not until later at night. i have to work from 2-10. i'll need some time with relius before i'm competent in playing him.

Everyone is netplay

netplay all day! he'll just have to man up to one of those pink arcana heart joints. going to start taking mondays off of work so i can attend the guilty gatherings

i tell you dude, no stores even have the game yet. if we did i would have brought it for saturday.since it's not a street dated title we dont get it in early, they usually come the day of release from overnight shipping. and sometimes...we happen to get it the day after for whatever reason, our computers have the release as the 15th, but the 14th is national media release day. anyway, friday i'll be at pings, i'll bring extend and i can bring whatever else, ps3 stick 360 stick, ps2 stick and guilty if anyone wants to play, also have melty blood and sengoku basara x if you feel like giving that a go. the next brainbox event i can make wont be for awhile. but i'm going to keep posting here and annoy you anyway.

tek, the only thing i noticed you do is auto burst as soon as you get with with something that will lead into a damaging combo, sometimes it's better to eat that combo and save a burst. my jin really really lacks what makes the other jin players like SRZ, owner, and the like good jin players. i more or less have stopped playing jin and hazama and mostly been using ragna. my ragna is 50/50 sometimes i do things right, sometimes i dont. i'm going to keep playing jin and hazama for extend, but i'll be focusing on ragna. i'm also picking up relius, lambda, and probably bang and hakumen. it's no fun just fighting ragna after ragna all the time. and to block tsubaki overhead you just have to watch what way she spins, it's backwards for the overhead and forwards for the low. next time i'm really hoping to play dreadmaniac (i forgot your name on here, sorry) because i don't know ANYTHING about the carl match. i just press shit until i hit you, then try to guess right to keep you in the corner.

you can name names, none of us will take offense. chances are you just dont understand our sense of humor having only met us once. anyway, i feel you guys need to know about this. curry bread is probably the greatest thing i have eaten in a while, you can get it at porter square, so do it. i'll be picking up extend on ps3 tuesday and later on xbox, if anyone wants to play me during the week let me know. the next brainbox event i can make will have to be march 9th, but i can be a netplay champ in the mean time.

show up early for casuals? if needed i can bring a ps3, i have all the dlc and what not. supply your own controllers though. also are we playing on hd monitors, need to know what cables to grab.

I always park at alewife and ride the train that's the easiest for me. Tek, we are going to get some games in, I need that mu experience since you are the only good one I've played.

i'm used to bringing an entire set up to where ever i go to play, so it's not really a problem for me to bring an xbox or ps3. i have both and buy the same games on both. i play on xbox at home because the netplay is better, the timing is a bit different on ps3 but it takes a whole 5 minutes to adjust to that so whatever. i also have sticks for both. also what time should we start showing up to this place, and does anyone want to meet up at harvard square or someplace to get some food before heading to the venue? i'm really only familiar with boston around the red and blue line.
