Yup, I'm all for that. I don't want to mess up the layout, though I think I have an idea of where you'd place it, so I'll leave it to you. I'll go figure out what picture to use (until Kuru's done since his borders are much nicer than mine xD) and some silly saying like I always do. And now we all play the waiting game for videos so we can all excitedly talk about CP Tsubawki some more.

I was just planning on being lazy and leaving the other combo discussion but thought it'd be better to actually just have a new thread so we can all get a fresh new start~ and no one has posted in the other thread in about four months. The idea for this thread is pretty straightforward: Talk about Tsubaki's combos from CP in here! Got it? Wondava. I'm pretty excited to see what people come up with especially since we have new tools at our disposal. Some of the more basic BnBs still work but our more advanced ones have either changed (drastically) or appear to have been removed due to her movelist change. I also want to know if they have Mugen similar to how it was in Extend and not that unused super from CS1 and CS2 that was essentially used for... nothing. There was absolutely no reason at all to use it in CS1 and 2 except maybe to troll lol.

Honestly we could probably do that for Konan, Kuresu, and Spinoza if they stick with Tsubaki in CP since they're pretty much the only real consistent Tsubakis that showed up in EX lol. Or whoever decides to main her consistently since it's a new version. I know I saw over twitter they were interested in Izayoi too so when she comes out we'll see if they just flip-flop between the two or stick with only one (at least I'm pretty sure Spinoza is interested because almost all Tsubaki players are interested in her aha).

Now that I think about it, the new super is pretty much her only new move we've heard the least about. Maybe if we're lucky it could be similar to Mitsuru's Mabufudyne? Though looking at how it was in trailer I doubt that's the case unless it's changed from then. Also, though it's probably counter-intuitive, if you were to RC it I wonder if the blades would still all launch. Hopefully we'll see all of these in action next week~ though I'll be gone for about four days thanks to Thanksgiving hahahaha... EDIT: Looking at the last two loketests info the blade super was consistent in that it took a long time for it to start though apparently it's really easy to use. I'm really hoping ArcSys changed it lol. For those interested this is from the first loketest: New super calls upon 8 blades to home in on opponent, but is not guaranteed to come out. If all 8 blades hit it is slightly less than 1600 damage. If all blades are blocked it gives long hitstun as they hit one after one other. From the second: Blades super: Time from setting up the blades to shooting them is so long that it doesn't feel like you'd be able to stick it in any combos. Blade super easy to use. Blade super doesn't have invincibility. The blades take so long to start firing, that you should have plenty of time to guarantee something like (Hazama's super), to counter it. D Blade super doesn't exist, and the special effect comes from 236D'ing through a projectile.

This is just a personal thought but 236X was a legitimate way to approach in CS2 (without being too overpowering since we had to space it correctly) and if the other person simply calls us being braindead for using it, that just means they weren't willing to try and figure out how to deal with it imo. I think the 2 charges would be good anywhere since charging in neutral has been nerfed. Getting any kind of charge, somehow, would be advantageous I think. Of course, my statement completely depends on how the command throw is and how her overall gameplan has changed.

Looking at the past loketests the only time that was reported was the first one. I mean it might still be possible but people haven't found a way to capitalize off it yet for obvious reasons but going from the video, you have to really know when to RC it. Edit: AND KIBA BEAT ME TO IT CURSE YOUR EU FUTURENESS. that has nothing to do with it lol

Yup, looking over the past loketest info it says that they usually received 2 charges from the command grab alone. So hopefully the guy didn't get 2 charges in the video because he RC'd it. :/ As for ground charging being worse, it's expected because they've given us other means to gain charge. I'm sure we all know that in the CS series, the only way to get charges (literally) was just our 5D, 2D, j.D. It'll be different in CP but I'm willing to hope it's for the better since, as Kiba said, we appear to have better overall pressure.

Thanks Kurushii~ Also, when the game is finally released I'll probably just rename this to an actual changes thread and keep all the info from the loketests we compiled at the bottom like I've been doing. Will also update the general discussion's first post since it still has info from when Extend first came out lol.

Hmmm... I'm not sure it was 236D actually. I looked it over again since you mentioned it and it didn't take away the one charge they had. Thanks for posting Airk~

Credits to KyushuFGC/Digital Masta for loketest footage: BBCP: Tsubaki vs Bullet 3rd Loketest What I saw from the video: Unfortunately couldn’t tell if her DP has invincibility since it doesn’t look/sound like the Bullet tried to attack right each time (I couldn't hear counter but then again it's a miracle if I could hear the system voice). But it looked like the recovery might be better? You can hold the 22B longer and it will still connect in the basic BnB (i.e. 5A > 2A > 5CC > 236A > 214B > 22B). Only causes about 1-1.5k-ish damage. This is probably because there are only two versions for her 236 and 214 specials now. Looked like j.C landing recovery might be better since they were able to throw right after? Tsubaki’s throw wall bounces. Can’t tell if it was on CH or just regular throw. 236X caused wall bounce again after throw and 5C could connect. Again can’t tell if it was from a CH throw. Getting charges on the ground is pretty nerfed. Our 2C is still amazing :3 CH 2CC > j.C > j.C > j.236A > j.214x? (I think A) did about 2k. Ground projectile does look like a good idea for stopping opponent's pressure. Command grab is at about 1:41 and causes float. Helped get 1 charge and you can RC it. CH j.C > 2C did not connect. From CP thread: Overdrive only uses 75% of Burst Gauge. Release date is supposedly the 22nd. Now off to more classes

I'm guessing those are the damage values afterwards since they were testing the proration? Interesting... And I'm wondering if they ment 214D after the 236A(w) as well because I don't think we've ever been able to cancel into the same move but different version ever.

I went out to dinner and see that we have new info AND I don't have to update the front page? You guys are da besss~ An IAD combo from 6A sounds absolutely divine. I'm pretty excited to see how she'll be once it's officially out especially since it's sounding like her offensive options have increased for the better. I hope someone will be willing to play her and be recorded lol.

I saw that too lol. Well, as the word spreads, hopefully more will try out Tsu. She's not that popular (in comparison) sadly. I think Spinoza was tweeting some stuff about Tsubaki though.

Just saw in the BBCP general discussion/hype thread that there is a loketest going on right now though it was unannounced. Since this is closer to when they're thinking of releasing the game, it's not too far off to think that this might be close to the final build. Regardless, please continue to take any new info with a grain of salt as they may (and probably will if they're holding this loketest) make last minute changes before releasing the final build in arcades. With that said, let's hope we get some people to play Tsubaki and get more info and footage~! :D
