You can, even in the corner. I watched it happen twice against a Relius. The Tsubaki used A DP on wake-up and the Relius dashed, so that he avoided it. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me now that I've noticed her A DP is further away from her compared to her B and C versions. You could clearly see that there was no way that A DP was going to hit him sadly I think it may also be a matter of hitbox but it's still pretty sad. EDIT: Actually, he dashed and jumped. My bad. Not any better but he wasn't just running at her. And I'm glad you guys liked my poorly made diagrams haha.

Since everyone is wondering about the hitbox for her DP... I decided to look to see if they did do a hitbox for it since I forgot they may have split it for some reason (some of her sword movements were with her already, like 22D it's two separate images but they were put together, so I thought maybe they just didn't have it) and found it. I doubt they'll change the frame data picture now, so sorry about missing it the first time through since I was the one who worked on it, but here you guys go. I had to put them together and rotate the sword myself so it might not be entirely accurate. Things I noticed while continuously doing her DPs to get as accurate a picture as I could: The D version actually combines all three of her other versions into it (sword-wise). C sword comes out first, then B, then A and follow one after another and the C hit will disappear first, then B, then A. It's not exactly simultaneous. This is why Ragna could grab Tsubaki out of it in the video Kiba linked. He was close enough that the C version didn't hit and was fast enough to CH grab her before the B sword hit. It's the aforementioned dead zone. The A, B, C version swords actually very slightly come out of different areas on the ground. A version sword seems to come out more forward than B, B seems to come out a little closer to Tsu, and C is in the middle of them. It's a really small margin though of how far away they're spaced, so I only tried to show it in the D version of the move. A, B, C Ver (basically): D ver. (VERY roughly done. I'm pretty sure the hitbox for each one begins once it's coming off the ground but it's hard to replicate that with what I have, so I tried to at least show the general idea of where it'll end, the spacing between them, and the direction *they'll all end up following where the C sword goes direction-wise* ;_______; ) : 1 = Comes out/disappears first 2 = Comes out/disappears second 3 = Comes out/disappears third Sorry again since it's not exactly accurate.

Ahahahahahaha~ The OST is certainly interesting. And yea, I heard they were re-making FF10 for some reason. I don't really think it needs to be remade but eh, whatever floats their boat.

The only reason we're all talking about her like this is because we can't play her yet though again about 90% of you are going to be playing her soon. No one can really figure out what to do with her with her considering no one has her yet so it's hard to talk about anything besides our impressions and opinions that we've formed from videos, but even then people seem somewhat reluctant to talk about that. But BB has indeed been getting better slowly but surely considering this is only their fourth iteration. Did my post seem negative? It was mostly to explain why people were focusing on her mechanics, as well as my own thoughts on it cuz why not, and not to put down Extend Tsubaki. I don't really care after CS1 lol. I'd stick with Tsubaki regardless though I would think that would be obvious~

Honestly, can see why people are putting a lot of emphasis on her mechanics. I think I can say that everyone agrees that she’s a character who gains charges and from there chooses how to use those to beat the opponent. However, from here, the opinion of whether or not her risk/reward for her charging and what she gains from it diverges. CS2 Tsubaki is a huge step in the right direction (SBO baby) and for Extend it feels like they’re testing the waters for certain things though a lot of the changes are weird for her or did not need to be changed the way it did and for some other characters as well. Admittedly, I think that the risk/reward is less than stellar than one would expect when you have charges though our unblockable 22D can lead to fun life. BUT this is hinges on how fast she gains charges, for me at least. If she gains charges fast, the D version for her moves as they are now are fine, again for me. But if it’s slow I would expect that her D moves did slightly more. I feel that ArcSys has to decide is what they want her to do (which is apparently to use Mugen more in Extend according to Mori). Do they want us to have less than stellar damage normally but then gain big buffs when we have charges or the opposite? How fast should we be able to get charges and what are some methods for getting that charge? In CS2 it was basically: what we get from charges is ok but since we have fast charging it balanced out since it led us to being able to gain mix-up and more options compared to how we are normally while still being able to hold up on our own without them and it worked. Tsubaki is probably the most balanced character in CS2. She’s good but she’s not overwhelming or overpowered. In Extend I feel that her difficulty in getting charges is really what hurt her, among other things, which hurts even more if we are to believe Mori in doing our damage through Mugen. Although, gaining charges appears to be getting better watching Kuresu and a few other Tsus and Mugen does seem to last a little bit longer than in CS2. Do I still believe that we’ll find a way to work around/with it? Of course, especially with apparently 90% of the Tsubakis importing Extend! :D I started to really think about this after a small discussion with Guardian on Saturday about Tsubaki and it got me thinking about her basic mechanics and what they could do to make her better fundamentally. However, I enjoy what I can do with Tsubaki and even though I know she can be better, all I can do is work with what I have to win and give my opponent as good a fight as I can give them~ .... That ended up being longer than I intended. EDIT: Yes, considering we probably have what I consider the most practical unblockable out of the whole cast at the cost of one charge.

I wouldn't be trying to beat Ragna in the air since apparently Tsubaki likes her solid ground. In all seriousness though her air game is ass. Everyone can pretty much beat her in the air so if they're jumpers, just stay down and try to punish them from there. The air throw is basically if they just like to jump and do nothing after they jump most of the time. Netplay is very lol now due to many factors. What happened to my beautiful CT netcode -

Tsubaki's 2C should be able to beat Ragna's j.C iirc but again I haven't played against Ragna recently so I'm not too certain. If they tend to double jump I say try waiting a little before trying to hit them with 2C since they may also be trying for a cross-up but Tsubaki should auto-correct to whichever direction they're in when you use it. Sorry I can't be more help past that though. -

If they're jumping around a lot try AAing them with 2C instead since it may also land you a CH and then you can go into IAD combo and try air grabbing > 6CC. I haven't gone against many Ragnas lately to be honest so I can't really help there (sorry ) but I have gone against a lot of people who are jumpy and those two things usually get them. -

I enjoyed Legendia. It did everything right... except for the battle system imo haha. Suikoden you don't really have to play the older games to understand the story in each iteration since it's all different and generations apart though they do have a timeline for where each iteration is. For Atelier... the battle system is just kinda tacked on there. It's clearly not their focus so I don't mind it. The main point I feel is item synthesizing (obvious right?) and the characters.
