Some good matches in there, Kaqn's Tsu is fun to watch. EDIT: I have to give shoutouts to Funya Q though for managing to pull off a win even with all the mistakes he made though he got lucky Kaqn misinput the 236D at the end. At least that's what it looked like to me.

Derp. Yea sorry it was 4 am when I typed that. I ment IAD > jCC after you land the 5B > 2CC. They can tech out around there faster than when you're usually going for the IAD combo. Edit: I think I posted about just trying to go for the dash 2CC instead of 5B they'll tech out before the 2C hits. But I do remember adding the 5B since just dash 2CC wouldn't work. I have no idea why I forgot to post that. I blame how late it was. Edit 2: if anyone wants to double-check and correct me go right ahead. It was late when I tested it so my execution was probably off more than usual.

Lucky for everyone (maybe?) my PS3 just happened to be on and since I kept editing my post I wanted to see if it worked or not. I amend my earlier post. Batousai is right, you can't do it after a ground throw. After the 236D you can only get in the first hit of the dash 2C before they can tech out at 2CC. EDIT: If it's an air throw though, you can do it since challenge 8 is exactly that. Good night all~

IAD combo after grab? Yes, I'm pretty sure you should be able to iirc. Throw > 236D > dash 2CC > IAD combo. Edit: I think you can add a 5B or 5C before the 2CC and it would still work as in Throw > 236D > dash 5B/5C 2CC > IAD combo. But I have to double-check on that. I'm sure someone else will give a better, more confident, answer by the time I wake up again though lol.

Oh yea, if you're too close then you won't whiff no matter what you do. Derp, don't know how I forgot that.

I input it as one motion personally since that's how I've gotten it to work in training mode when practicing it. I just have to remember to switch from C to A lol.

I was just watching the Tsubaki Intermediate combo video and saw that same loop being used on Hakumen though the beginning and ending of the combo was different, so it's not just Tager specific. I wonder if it would work on other characters with smaller hitboxes as well... Hmmmm....

I'm not saying don't speak about it because you don't have enough experience or anything like that considering then there wouldn't be any discussion at all. It's more of how the information was presented in your rebuttal. Going against someone who's good with the character yourself will give you more match-up ideas as well as helping with strategies more than just watching others play. And no one said you were wrong but I will apologize for making you feel like that.

Any extra damage is good really, no matter how minimal (unless it wastes meter, puts you in a bad position, etc.) and really it's not bad considering you actually do get decent damage while corner carrying. Being able to put someone in the corner easily is something not a lot of other characters can do. I've seen a many Tsubakis who can do the IAD combo, turn the match around in their favor because of it. If they're able to tech out before the 5B lands that means you're not delaying the j.CC after the IAD long enough. You have to delay the j.CC a bit after hitting them with the first hit in order to keep them stunned long enough for you to land the 5B. You also have to be at the right height when performing the IAD combo.

Konan flipped his SBO switch on. EDIT: Actually re-watching it, it didn't look like the R-1 I knew and Konan punished him for his mistakes. R-1 kept dropping his Haida combos :v: R-1 is either like you said, not used to the match-up, he was having a bad day or maybe he was just nervous going up against Konan. IIRC Konan's qualified for SBO a couple of times with Jin and of course, this year with Tsu. I don't know how many times they've played against each other in CS2 though so it could be a combination of all three and/or possibly more, though it's all just speculation on my part.
