  4. What's wrong with blocking or jumping as long as you are pushing me to the corner? 214D isn't as invincible as you seem to think it is. Also try asking Nineball, Haven or Mash what they do. While 214D is good against them, I don't have the same level of success using it against them as I do you. And I'm not sure why you are placing so much focus on 214D when you failed to seal the deal once you got in. It isn't as though 214D kept you out the entire time. I was in the corner against you and got out way more times than I should have without using CA or super > RC. Getting in is going to be tough. So you have to kill me once you get in.

  6. GGs D_E. It felt like you gave up so early during that set. At least, I got practice with Tao. It's so much easier to learn combos while you are playing instead of trying to do it in training mode.
  7. I had a FT10 against my friend back in CT and my ability to use Nu's drive outside of a combo was at stake. I lost and went the next few months as a rush down, C mashing Nu. That was fun. This is definitely interesting. I gotta try this out one day.
  8. You can make Mac hesitate with countering 236D if you space it right. Unless he starts 6D'ing.

  14. I haven't noticed it (I don't really watch match videos) but it was said that it has no dead zone (as opposed to Dia's crescent saber or Lambda's). So it would make since that it was bigger so it wouldn't whiff up close.
  15. I think Akira is a good player. Probably the best Carl I've played next to Pigg and Isu. He just has...problems expressing his opinions eloquently.
  16. Awwww. That sucks. 6D would probably easily deal with my sickle set-up if that is the case. Guess I just have to accept I can't mess with Haku on wake-up with my 236D
  17. Try to 6D like C0R suggested next time. Haku's leans forward during that so it may make my tactic completely useless.
  18. Interesting. I wonder if I can consistently put a wheel in that spot. I guessing that if you 2D instead, you would be further back and the wheel would whiff initially?
  19. Nah. You just messed up. 3C cuts from frame 8 to 15. 3C has 9 frames of start-up and 3 active frames. So it cuts projectiles during its active frames.
  20. If your jCC causes enough blockstun that I can't mash out when you land and go for 5A, that means the jCC can be AA'd. I just chose 5A since it was fastest. That's how it ideally works and I typically do that. But it is much more prone to giving them a chance for a comeback since the overall damage is lower. When you give a zoner really good oki and a 17 frame overhead, it would be stupid for them to not even try abusing it. If I don't have a choice (like against you or Mucky), I will aim for the time out victory with the life lead.
  21. GGs Errol. Blocking against Tsubaki is a lot of work. That 6B makes things annoying. And I hated getting FC'd by 6A when I tried to throw you out of it. You know no one gets hit by those swords.
