  1. You probably should thank megamonk4 more since he mentioned it in like the 4th or 5th post of this thread.
  2. You didn't ask the Kanji players you play against how to avoid it? You could also have looked on the wiki.
  3. Labyrs. And it is amazing, even if they suck.
  4. Because it is incredibly unsafe and easy to punish. It whiffs if you are crouching and he typically lands right next to you for an easy punish.
  5. No
  6. Naoto is a really annoying. GGs xntrikcat.
  7. Music from video games?
  8. I use it to counter other IKs and some supers. Using Labrys's IK against an Akihiko who threw out a random Maziodyne feels awesome.
  9. Luck? Only the first 3 hits of Lambda's 3C are actually low. So you countered one of the later hits somehow. Don't remember much except thinking "This is something that would only happen against Mac".
  10. You should try out this one: FC 5AA > 236A/B > 6 > A followup > 236A > 6 > A followup > 236A > 6 > A followup > 236236C/D . Pretty sure those are the buttons I press (it's red axe of course).
  11. It is mostly laziness. How many people block that? Why bother wasting the energy hitconfirming when you don't need to 90% of the time?
  12. Lambda's 4B[2]. If she whiffs the first hit, it is a 17 frame overhead.
  13. Was that a serious question? He killed Lambda and made her not appear in CP. Of course I hate him. Amazing
  14. That stuff is fine and badass. But comparing Lambda to a toy and not even acknowledging Lambda herself means I have to dislike him. I know why he does it and it makes sense, but as a Lambda lover, I will dislike people who don't show Lambda the respect I think she deserves on principle.
  15. I haven't paid attention to the quotes in a long time. I had forgotten that Hakumen wasn't nice towards Lambda. He needs to go into my Rachel tier of dislike now.
  16. j2A is probably the coolest thing about Hakumen. Well, j2A > airdash > stuff is
  17. GGs Sen, bbq and VR-Raiden. I like how bbq instantly saw how free I am to throws and started abusing them. One day, a game will come out where I can tech throws. Edit: My pressure and combo choice seems lacking too. I gotta work on that.
  18. Is Zashin really a command grab? That seems strange. Now I have to test to see if gravity well can avoid it.
  19. At first I hated myself for being too lazy to ask Shin for an invite even though we had a 4 connection today but it all worked out in the end. GGs VR-Raiden. Your Yu is a beast. I don't think I am ever gonna be able to block your oki stuff.
  20. Maybe what I am saying isn't coming through correctly. I am not talking about punishing the overhead. I mean that after Mitsuru blocks it, Mitsuru's 5A will beat anything that Labrys throws out at range (unless 214B was done at the closest possible range and she didn't IB for some reason) and Labrys has to block (or DP/roll). Maybe I am mistaken and Labrys can do something after 214A/B recovers to beat out Mitsuru 5A but I wasn't able to find one when I played a few Mitsuru. Giving Mitsuru the advantage is a situation that Labrys wants to avoid since her defensive abilities kind of suck.
  21. I know that it is safe. But Mitsuru is at the advantage since Labrys can't press any buttons after that since Mitsuru 5A would stuff it. So after you block the overhead, you can take initiative.
  22. Pretty sure that is the hardest part for most Lambda. If that part were easy, it would be like having a flow chart and less fun to play her.
  23. Mitsuru should be at advantage after Labrys does 214A/B (the overhead) because she has more range than Labrys. As WintySoSol, outside of 5AA and 2AA, Labrys isn't really that safe. And Labrys's reversal isn't that great. Bait and punish it if it is causing you that much trouble. It really sounds like you are getting flustered fighting against Labrys and messing up rather than Labrys being a hard match-up.
  24. Avoid putting yourself into situations where you have to guess like that. If you are unsure of which sword to use, it is generally safe to IAD j2DD. Of course that puts you closer to the corner, which is something you want to avoid. If push comes to shove, you can take the fight to him by dashing forward and initiating pressure with a move. It's sort of hard to explain exactly what to do without seeing you in action and seeing what your habits are. You never made me.
  25. Then I just need to buffer 236A (2A should work too) so that if 2C clashes, your D mash would whiff. I know that I can definitely cancel a clash into 2A, I would guess that cancelling it into a special move would work too. I could probably mash a lot of moves to beat that set-up. jD probably has a 1 frame start-up and like 7 or 8 active frames so I could just mash any 10+ frame normal to CH you out of hit.
