  1. You have habits? I just choose one way of escaping and continue to do it until it works. When I was beating your Hotaru with 2C, it wasn't on reaction or a guess. I had decided before I got into the corner to spam it hoping you would use Hotaru. Same thing with when I FC'd your throws with gravity well. Against you, I figured it would work better to just do the same thing and hope you over think things.
  2. I refuse to fall for your mind tricks. I stick with my gameplan and assume any obvious habits (outside of your IAD j2C and love of tick throws) are traps. And Legacy changed his question so my new answer is mostly out of reaction.
  3. Both. Reaction is always better of course but I'll take a calculated risk sometimes and throw out a sword because I think my opponent will be there. Although if I am on netplay, the amount of swords done on prediction increase alot.
  4. I have no idea if any of your posts were directed at me but I was just going by fear factor, where CT Hakumen was overall scarier than CS2 Haku. CS2 Haku was a much better character overall but I was scared of him less than CT Haku. I haven't seen CS2 Haku do things like this (stealing your clip Mac): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7IXbyitoyo#t=2m20s . It isn't completely logical I know, but a fear factor isn't something you can always objectively define.
  5. CS2 Haku was the least scary, from a Lambda/Nu perspective. CT was a worse match-up for him but he had that huge damage factor that made him scary.
  6. I played Gief in Vanilla. I've switched mains a lot in the SF4 series. Since the last time we played, I've mained Hakan, Cody, Dan and Rose. Now I am back on Dee Jay permanently now probably, unless I get in the Gief mode again, which I doubt.
  7. It isn't as though I have some amazing strategy that beats her. I just like the struggle. Having to be on the top of my game and then some to win is fun for me. My favorite match-ups in BB is Tao/Bang vs Lambda. My favorite match-ups in SF4 was my Zangief vs the waves of Seth/Sagats. It's sort of hard to explain.
  8. GGs everyone I fought yesterday and today. I think I may be getting used to this controller again.
  9. Mitsuru. Teddie and Chie are close seconds for my favorite characters to fight against.
  10. GGs Radred, earwigeric and everyone else I played. Teddie is still insane. I don't think I'll ever know what to do against him.
  11. You can be free too. Freeness has no bounds. From what I remember, pretty much every hit I got was from a one shot gimmick. I just had a lot of them. Once I run out, I start lose badly. Once you've seen them all, you will easily beat me. I should start subbing Liz since she seems to have an endless supply of them.
  12. I've played 3 matches against Spacebar on PSN and got blown up by Garu and that's pretty much it. Good Liz are hard to come by. Not that I could really tell I guess since I am pretty free in this game.
  13. Was I one of those people?
  14. Gotta drop this. I have to let my friend borrow my 360 and I doubt I would be able to get it back in time for this. Sorry.
  15. You're right about them being able to DP for free if you do the A follow-up. The only thing I could think that would stop them from DPing would be if chain knuckle stop left you outside of the range of their DP and recovered fast enough to punish it. Never used chain knuckle stop so I don't know if that's the case.
  16. I feel better now that one of the combo masters couldn't do it either. I thought I was just failing horribly. It would be an interesting read if it wouldn't take too much of your time up.
  17. Isn't that normal? I'm typically lucky if my characters in air dashers get one move that is plus on block. Have I been playing the wrong characters this entire time?
  18. I still have all my copies of it. I plan on testing it out whenever I get off of work and get home.
  19. Surprisingly, that actually isn't the case. Tari tested it out and it looks like it has no affect on blockstun so her frame advantage on block doesn't change at all. You are getting beat by Labry's DP? It isn't that hard to deal with. If you see yourself hitting it, either stop pressing buttons and hold back or DP through her attack. Try to test it out in training mode to get the timing. Don't forget she can charged her DP, but that shouldn't have much effect.
  20. I believe Wander's actual question was why did Haku's jD work against the Clap, which is unblockable, while his counters don't work against other unblockable attacks like Tsubaki's charged 22D or Carl's charged 6C? I believe everyone knows (or at least knew when it was relevant) how it worked (the last character who could escape it was Carl, assuming he had Ada near).
  21. 4B(2), 6C, 236D (and 236D~C), j214D, and 236C are our moves that have SMP. Fit 10 (it is 10 to start it right?) of them into a combo and see.
  22. Clap is actually two hits. So maybe only one of them was unblockable and whichever one you countered wasn't the unblockable one. It's strange that this wasn't questioned before.
  23. You couldn't barrier the clap in CT Mac. That is what made the clap loop possible...
  24. Nothing official (outside of AoA) but the japanese wiki seems to be good.
  25. All of these other assists let me get into Slaughter mode easily with Chizuru but I still can't find a safe way to do it from my main assist. Maybe I am over thinking this...it can't be this tough.
