i dont think i've ever seen a 5d>5b>5cdc after a 214B, is that possible? but i don't think there's enough time for the 214B to hit after a 6B CH, the untechable time is just wayyy too short now, if you can't even run up and 5b, how would a 214B hit in time?

yeah, 6cc only combos from 5b if its a CH, otherwise it'd be cheap as hell

i guess i'll ask then, how do you guys feel about the ragna/bang matchup? that rushdown is killing her chargability. and esp. ragna's long ass normals. what do ya'll think is the best way to deal with it?

my sentiments exactly, i feel that the only reason they nerfed the time was so her 5cdc 214b, 5d, 6c, j.c combo wouldn't connect anymore does her 4b gatling with 2b? i can't remember if it did or not in ct either, since i never had to use it lol

is it too early to start up match up threads? cuz i have trouble against ragna, his pokes are too good lol, and i know against tager you just need to IB the crap out of everything

I just had an idea, I'm wondering if its possible to get 1 stock of charge back comboing with the 214d, since it launches pretty high, not sure what the untechable time is. but i'm guessing the recovery frames may be too much to allow that.

how is the recovery for her 22a/b/c?? wondering if it might have any use by itself. cuz i find it pretty hard to get in without D charging star since her normals are so short. and is the 6c's range far enough for a CH 5b to connect at the tip?

the only thing i can think of is her corner combo with bbl, or the corner tech trap 2 pole bbl but they only do about 3k

what were they thinkin... at the least they should've only either nerfed the range or add the extra time to summon, not both.

if its true that its unblockable, that seems pretty awesome on wake up esp if they gots no dp, she seems to play like a sf4 character lol, level 3 focus attack ftw

i don't think you can do anything after you use 236 a/b/c in the air, u'd have to RC it to combo in the air with it

yeah, it works on hit, it seems to be the most functional when u use a combo that end with a 236 a/b/c and the opponent is too high for the bat pole to form to combo into lighting, but you can activate it while it's still a bean and combo it, might be good for weird air BBL setups so 236a9d 214c gives you a 2 hitter, i haven't tried BBl with that, not sure if the hitstun is long enough to connect that i've also noticed that CH 236a stun is pretty long, it almost feels like CT 2b CH

Stopped by AI again and was experimenting with the flying bat poles. apparently as soon as lobelias hit something it'll become an active bat pole. so if you wanna pull some shenanigans you can hit them and wind it around and you have yourself a flying bat pole.

I stopped by AI today again to check out more rachel stuff, i don't know if anyone has pointed this out already but, i think the lobelias that are bounced back are active as poles, so you can set them off midair. does anyone know if the bounced lobelias can be winded? maybe we could get flying bat poles lol. but probably not i'm guessing and also sometimes the 5cc air hit doesn't wallbounce, it sends them flying almost like jin's EX DP, but i don't remember if they get the sliding action goin and i noticed when i tried to frog some people, 2b, 5b launches them too high to combo, so i'm guessing we need 3c instead

only when u hit the ground though, otherwise i'd be canceling that shit into pumpkins all day long. do you guys know if the 2b 5b 6cd j.c combo would work? thats the only OLD combo i can think of that might possibly do a decent amount of damage. and 5b can cancel into 4b back to 5b right? i 'll just overhead and pumpkin down 3 winds to guard break lol

i think if they just brought back at least the old pumpkin's attributes, and normal cancelable j2c, she'd be playable. just those 2 things i understand all the damage nerfs, i remember winning rounds with just using 2 combos against people in the corner, who weren't familiar with her setups. why coudln't they at least give us a longer ranged normal if they did all this to rachel gotta just wait till the next BB

ima try to for a while, but i can tell i'll be switching at some point. it seems like alot of the rachel players are goin to tsubaki, wonder why that is. is it cuz she's a rushdown char? i'm considering hazama because i wear a hat like his.

Man, even kro is feelin the weakness comin on. I'm so sad they did this to rachel. even I'm losing all hope of sticking with her. I wish I knew who I'd wanna try out to main next. I feel so lost @.o

who's still midscreen froggable? i know i've seen taokaka get frogged in one of the nico vids. i tried against hakumen but it failed, dunno if i was just a tad bit too far.

i think it'd be worthwhile to mess around with the delayed midair 2d j2c's like in the vamos vid, i think it'd be good for easy frog setups. i tried something like that last night, but i think i put in too many hits for the 2d j2c to combo (i tried doin the old, j.b, j.a, j.b, j.c, jc j2c combo). but it worked out as a reset for me.

i think (5b, 6cdc)x2 combos are still good, i tried it out last night and im sure i didn't blackbeat (unless i'm just totally blind). i thought it was out beforehand because nobody did them in the recent vids and i tried being creative with the new wallbounce 5cc, you can 5b, 5cdc, 214b, run up, 5b, 2d, 5cc, 236b, 214c it does close to 2k and uses 2 winds, not a very worthwhile combo lol but it works i think you can vary it up with a delayed 5d, dash 5cc, might be better to get pumpkin closer

something like that would be probably only useful for maybe putting someone in the corner. man how did they end up doing this to rachel? wouldn't you figure this was supposed to happen to v-13 instead lol. looks like we gotta figure out some whacky shit with her wind to possibly do damage
