Eric, Edgar, hope we're still on for Sunday. I'm having Kev bring over Gief (SFIV) and maybe the Calibur while he's at it. I'll also have Third Strike, MvC(1&2), CvS2, BlazBlue, SSFIIX, #Reload, along with other fighting games ready to play at my apartment. Think of it as a mini-FightNight? Lol. Anyone else want to tag along?

I smelled the controversy from a mile away. Eric, it was you and Atlaus that were talking about the-cough- One-Handed Mode? -cough- Yeah, that's a whole controvery within itself. Lol.

Good to hear. Looks like we're going to have a fun car ride to and from, Atlaus. Oddly, I feel like playing Third Strike more than anything else. I was to try out Urien (or, as I say, Urine). Should bring a Wii over so we could play Tatsunoko. That would be an awesome acid trip.

Well, once I have my PC SFIV torrent complete, I can give it to you (ummm... try and bring a 4GB+ flash drive). Random Thoughts (Since this thread is basically on life support. Lol.): -If only the Xbox version of #Reload had online that works. I mean, I hear that Halo2's still around, so why not GGXX? -I'm not playing BlazBlue until I gets better interwebs. I don't want anyone bitching about me because I have horrible lag or drop games. -...Does anyone here even like BB all that much? - I'm a Jin player. 93% of BB players hate Jins. The other 7% are Jins themselves. - Man, I need some serious training in Accent Core. Hopefully the trip to the Fight Night wednesday will let me meet new people so I can learn something from them.

Exactly what I'm talking about. Not even companies like GTTV or GameInformer really think highly of Guilty Gear XX. GI, in one of their issues, rated Accent Core+ a 7/10, -_- Like they do with almost all games that have an anime-feel to it. (Tales of the Abyss/Vesperia for example.) That's their loss. I know a lot of people who quickly judge a game just by how it looks, and you and I can agree on the fact that they're missing out. :P "Everything will be better with 3D graphics...?" ._. Yeah, false statement, indeed. Just look at GG2:Overture.

Ah man, Walker. I'd love to play you guys in 3 of my favorite fighting games (GG, BB, SF), but... >.> For me, Arcade Legends alone is like a 3hr+ drive on the highway. But to us GGXX followers, BlazBlue just isn't enough. There's just so many flaws and exploits with the game. Sure it looks pretty, and there's some variety in the characters... but there isn't enough. I mean, we can only hope Continuum Shift will fix these problems, but it'll never be GuiltyGear. Maybe it's just me complaining, but many other people feel the same way. D:

(I don't know if anyone's posted something like this, but I was just thinking about this.) At least, that's what I think. The Guilty Gear series never gets any major hype (but it should), as opposed to major fighter series such as Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, or Tekken. Just as the Street Fighter IV hype is over (came out around February, right?), Accent Core+ is released about a couple of months after. But I see no release parties or tournaments at major video game retailers like I did for Capcom's world-renowned fighting game. Today, I played Accent Core with KamuiMoon, and we talked about why GGXX isn't really that popular in the US. >.> I'll try and paraphrase what he said: "Many people just see Guilty Gear as just another anime fighting game, when they don't really [take a chance to] understand the depth of Guilty Gear." I, for one, agree that Guilty Gear XX (especially Accent Core) has a lot of depth to its fighting system. It takes skill to keep up with the fast pace and split-second timing of attacks and cancels, all while anticipating what your opponent will do next. One mistake--one random Burst, Taunt, missed Overdrive Attack -- can spell KO for your character. Is Guilty Gear better than aforementioned fighting games? Well, I can't really say for sure. Truthfully I think it all depends on the person's personal preference with video games. But people should at least give the GGXX series a chance. EDIT([10/16/09]): I'm glad that my thread actually gave people something to think/talk about. :3 EDIT([11/27/09): ... Yeah. Someone changed the thread name... ah well, I guess it's all good, seeming as the topic veered from "Why is GG so Unpopular?" to "MY JOHNNY CAN KICK YOUR JOHNNY'S ASS!" ._.

Lol. We both had an awesome time playing you in Accent Core and SFIV. You taught me a few things (#1 being "Don't f--k with Order-Sol." Lol) and you can bet that I'll be training my hardest for next time! EDIT: Lol. I should have known that you'd be one of the contributors to the Order-Sol Combo thread. xD

Ah, I wish I could go meet you [down] there, but I'm all the way up in Northeast Ohio. If you want to go at it at some Street Fighter or BlazBlue on XBOX Live, I'd be glad to accept anytime. Just add me.

I have to say, N.EX.T did a really good job with the GGXX Korean OST. Megatona Furioso () would have to be one of my favorites. Sounds like the entrance theme to some big motherf--ker on some wrestling/mma show. Keeper of the Unknown () is my second fave. Child of the Wild () = Total Badassery. All in favor? :Edit: Forgot to give my props to the main GGXX OST Get Down To Business (Order:OS:) Awe of She () Sounds like a mid-boss battle to me. Or the EP to an Anime. :3 Feel a Fear () One of my favorites ever since GGXX came out.
