are there any reliable figures about usa ct/cs/cse sales, because that's where most of the sales and especially most of the 360 sales would be i wonder if their uncertainty about 360 release has to do with the fact that they're supposedly really revamping the netcode. maybe the way they're doing it has some incompatibility with xbox live? just speculation, i have no idea how this shit works lol companies give a shit about money didn't want to get into this topic, not much to say besides there's the murakumo hint in the trailer and that i seriously doubt that any company would throw away the work of those two charas as well as their playerbase but yes, if their gameplay styles arent in that would be even more stupid than getting rid of "old", nice stages and music -

iirc some charas can do special->overdrive like how in marvel/arcana/persona you can do special->super. only one i remember is ragna. hopefully he can't do inferno divider->overdrive, lol Yeah, do you just have a longer superflash proportionate to more inputs available at lower health(longer OD time), or or do you constantly hit D and a direction to command it after the superflash like some sort of puppet character, or what? If you're staffless, can you not overdrive at all, or does it cancel whatever staff-flight is going on and starts daisharin anyway? it was a cool beret but i do like the idea of her hair being down -

that is a very simplistic view of why people tolerate marvel's craziness. assists and super absurd mixup and neutral and loads of ridiculous tech are also silly, yes, but are fundamentally different in how they are silly/enticing than bbct/old ggs i am talking about play a fighter "seriously" at meetups/tournaments over time, not the eventual "alright that's enough" that comes after playing a lot in one sitting and i meant giving up on a game as maining/subbing it, not never playing it again even for dinking around -

but can you go in hard on it for a long period with skilled players and not go "fuck this" it is not hard to squeeze fun out of most not-completely-shit games but this is the fgc we're talking in the context of, not just random play :x -

bbct/bbcs's dumb mechanics(guard libra, overpowered instant block, lol ct burst, lol chickenblocking, smaller trm window) and stupid/unfinished characters(ct nu, bang in both versions, rachel in both versions, tager, etc...although, cse tsubaki feels "unfinished" compared to cs2 tsubaki :/...) say hi ct was only fun at the time it came out and if you were someone who was relatively new to fighters. going back to it is like going back to pre-xx guilty gear. most of the bad associations people have with BB are because of ct. dem nostalgia goggles -

I have a pretty good head start on homework so I might be back in two weeks. I think i have some good ideas on how to go about certain awkward neutral situations with makoto and above all i just need to focus and not go into weird autopiloty states. Been making progress with having better defense, so that makes me happy. sunfish/jet/naotodude just tell me what's going on next week and ill text people about it

you know, the arcade version isnt even out yet, maybe if we bother arcsys enough(what method would be best? a particular email) they'll put in offline replay options in console version at least its a long shot but that would be just fucking fantastic imo, should be a pretty low effort thing to show that we care about it, so... -

a general difference does not preclude a character specifically from employing that strategy. there's many ways to make simply blocking a zoner scary: full screen mixup, guard crush/unblockable capabilities, being able to transition easily from full screen zoning to close range mixup, scary options of those when they get meter from zoning you, and chip damage could be incorporated into a zoner just like the others. also throws were fucking strong in old games so it is not as simple a matter as "blocking was a much stronger strategy" -

Well, a lot people really think of FGs as just mindless button mashers, or as an unevolved genre inferior to others. Some people really change their mind and get interested when they start to understand the depth in them. -

Alright, this week we have three things going on: Friday-I'm hosting a meetup, 3pm to about 11pm. I live at University of Texas at Dallas if you haven't been to one of my meetups before, PM me for directions/my number. BB and persona confirmed. Eric and Ro already confirmed for coming so there will be hungry blazblue play there. Saturday-D-town beatdown! Go for persona since that's the only thing that got decent turnout last time.http://www.facebook.com/events/461879200511435/ Someone should probably bring casuals setups for DTB itself and for the meetup after!! There will be post-DTB casuals at Sunfish's. PM him or ask around the persona players at DTB for directions/his number/etc! Weekdays-I dont know if you noticed, but "Random Naoto"(AKA "TXscrub" on srk) posted about how he's up for people coming over on weekdays for Persona.
