Actually I'm not refurbishing. I'm doing a reflow myself so that I can get my shit off of it and then I'll just use it once in a while until I get money for a slim. All of the details and stuff about what I'm doing are in Hellknight's visitor messages.

Sony is charging me $149 for a refurbish anyways. It's do or die, I got nothing to lose. I think spending $50 to keep my PS3 on ticking time bomb status for a while until I can pitch in $300 for a slim is MUCH MUCH better than pitching $149 to Sony to give me a refurbished console at the cost of ALL of my data and then in due time have the refurbished console YLOD on me (they usually give you a refurbished model of the same type that you sent in). Screw that, I'll willingly save up twice the amount of money it costs to refurbish it just to save all of my stuff and have it all on a slim model where the most common causes of the YLOD were addressed and fixed, so the chances of it happening to me again are SLIM. Well it probably will happen to me again for cracking a pun like that, lol.

Well here's what I'm doing. Since reflowing it myself with a heat gun and some Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound will only cost me like $50 and the PS3 lasts anywhere from a few minutes to 3 or 4 months before it needs another reflow, I'm going to go with that option. After I reflow it once, I'm going to save the shit that I absolutely prioritize the recovery of (specifically some game saves and my BBCT disc) and then I'm going to lay off of PS3 activity a bit until I get the money for a slim PS3. When I get a slim, I'm going to do another reflow on my old PS3 just to be safe and then I'm going to do a full data transfer from my old PS3 to my slim PS3. Now if I do get on PSN in the near future, I'll be getting on to: A.) request access to your account and a few of my friend's accounts so I can deactivate my PS3 from the accounts, giving my new PS3 space to activate onto the accounts and retain the DLC and shit. B.) Play a little BB:CS just to satisfy my cravings.

It's all gone now from what it looks like. Since I can't even turn it on to try and back up anything, I have absolutely no way to get my stuff backed up now. I couldn't give 2 shits about my BB data being gone because I could unlock all of that crap again in less than a day. My Demon's Souls and TXRD2 data was all I really cared about, but they're done for obviously so......FFFFFFFFFFF. >_>

Guys, for everyone wondering why I'll be gone for a while and probably missing the release of BBCS, just this evening my PS3 got the yellow light of death. I'm completely devastated and I'm going to call Sony to see if there's a way to get my PS2 saves off of my HDD and back onto my PS2 memory cards or at least onto my computer. I can't freaking believe this happened.

Actually, I got another version of the image from someone else that doesn't have the white background so I'm good to go. Expect it in the next 10-15 minutes.

Lol dat magic eraser hates me and wants me to die. :P I'm working on it in Paint.NET and so far so good, it's coming along better than I thought it would. My problem with these kinds of things is that I'm a total perfectionist with pictures or anything I want to take pride in, so it could take a bit longer. xD

Okay so I'm posting here so it won't take so much room in the avatar thread and make Circuitous mad. I would need a png or bmp format image without a white background or any other background for that matter. Right now I'm in Paint.NET doing the best job I can to rid of the white background (which I might add has been going along pretty nicely so far). Like I said in the forum, it's not so much that I'm bad at these kinds of things, it's just I'm a total perfectionist about almost anything I make or set up so it takes longer for me to do some things like remove background from images or drawing something. :P

Bah I think it was good enough already, it's fine. I lol'd especially since I recently picked up Millia and decided to triple sub her.

It's new news to me. :P The moment I saw Ken Shiro bringing out his Hokuto no Shinken on like 30 people at once all like "WATA! ADIDIDIDIDIDIDIDI!" I was like "OHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYY GOD! So good!" and I about broke down in tears of epic manliness. I'm so importing this the moment I get money, bottom line! :D

OMGOMGOMG! I FUCKING LOVE KOEI MORE THAN EVER! Guess what I just learned about? There is a Dynasty Warriors Hokuto no Ken on the PS3 and omfg it looks sooooooooo damn amazing! This game shows what Koei can REALLY do in terms of gameplay and graphics and pretty much everything else across the board. I'm importing this shit ASAP, I want to kill 1000s of men with Toki. :DDD

Yeah Ryougi has horrifying priority and she can do some pretty decent damage as well. I mess with her time to time because she is who she is, one of my favorite Type-Moon characters.

chyeahhhh. i haven't fought an awesome arakune in a while, that's about all i haven't fought yet since i got back. WoZ got almost every other character covered since he learned like everybody out of boredom so yeah i've fought everyone else in the cast. xD
