  3. Ive had a surprising amount of luck getting people to play BB. You'd be surprised how well "hey you! Play this game!" works. Lol Yeah I'm still heading to Xanadu Saturday. So next Saturday I should be able to start making it out. Anyone planning on going to summer jam?
  4. I agree with you guyman. 3C CH and raw 214DC hits are hard to come by. Do shit damage midscreen. Confirm into Hotenjin with meter, then get bursted out because it's the only way you can do damage midscreen. I'd definitely trade some Hotenjin damage for better combo routes midscreen.
  5. Getting people out is the first step. I know a lot of people tend to get frustrated playing against better people and losing but I'd like to think Joe and I do a pretty good job of helping people into the game and explaining various options. I was planning on going to Xanadu this saturday with LK and my friend Craig. But I'll see if they want to head to GJ instead.
  6. I know ive seen the combo done but I don't remember the starter. I've been doing it off of 214DB CH starter which might not be the most optimal starter for that route.
  7. Which combo are you doing? Ive been doing 623D RC 66 214DC 66 6C.. But I always end up dropping it so I'm not sure how much meter gain you get back for it. Though I imagine if you can get the full combo you'll get the 50 back.
  8. My own accounts Hazama psr is around 100. Play ranked on a friends account. Hazama goes from 25 to 175ish psr in an hour or so. Fuck this shit. D=

  11. It's not really over complicating things at all. It guarantees that you get 5C every time, instead of "my joystick was slightly still on the forward microswitch and I got 6C instead and dropped a kill combo fffffffffffffffffffff"
  12. Try doing 66 4C this way you'll always get 5C instead of 6C. Note that this won't work if you're playing a character that has a 4C normal.
  13. This was actually something I was gonna work on several months back. Like sit down with LK and record in depth commentary about his matches and other high level matches. I've been super lazy about starting it though. If enough people are interested in the idea and LK agrees to it, I'll definitely see if I can get the ball rolling on it.

  22. You've gotta make your opponent respect your shit before you can mix them up. Too many people will just try mashing anything and everything. 2A 2C for example will stop people from jumping out or pressing a button, with the exception of Hakumen's D. 2A 2A dash 2A is great to set up for a tick command throw or a mix up. Here's some stuff that LK wrote in my notebook about good pressure with Hazama: 5A 2B > throw 5B 214DA Dash 2A 214DA- beats throw tech 214DA 214DA- beats 360 5B jump forward J2DD 236C Dash 2B 236C 5B 2A 2AA dash 2A 2C 2A 5C 2A 2C 3C 236D 3C delay 236D- 50% meter RC> do whatever.

  24. I'd like to add a bit of chain options as well here. If your opponent runs under your chain while you J5D. Do C follow up and quickly J6D/ J4D. The C follow up will stop your momentum as well as turn you around in one motion so you can punish them for trying to knock you out of the air. Jump late air backdash J5D. After watching some match videos against Zidane, I saw him doing this a lot. Covers an awesome space that will catch people running or jumping as well as move you back from their advances. J6DD short chain will fling you across the screen in almost a straight line. In the words of Zidane "super airdash" useful for getting in or out of situations. J4DD short chain will move you forward and down to the ground. Super fast. Throw out a JB and you just hit them. J2DC if you went to stop momentum with J2D and find your opponent under you, use this to bait immediate attempts to swat you out of the sky and score a troll cross up with J2C. Against Tager: J5DD, dj J5DD, J5DD, J5DD, J5DD... Really not practical at all with the way ouroboros stock changed, but still so much fun. Aim for his head and fly over it then double jump to turn around(if you used super Jump then the double jump isn't needed) and shoot another J5D. Rinse and repeat until they get hit in frustration or try to IB and air throw you out.
