Oh? Then what about Japanese band covers of video game music? CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE? Video game music is still music. It's awkward, though, when I'm jamming out to some Touhou cover or Xenosaga/Tales track and someone asks me what I'm listening to. I say, "Video game music," and they mostly go :8/:

Wait wait wait. If this is truly the most recent matchup chart for CS... Arakune has equal matchups against Tager and Rachel? And a 6.0 vs. Carl? What? There are other stuff that I noticed but these just stood out to me first.

Yeah, I always wondered where the heck I-No went in GG2. She was That Man's loyal servant, even though he punished her a lot for doing stuff he didn't like. Or she could have been killed off, but this is I-No we're talking about. Hardest bitch to kill that refuses to die. -
For me, it's feel; after hitting someone with Baiken's tatami mat, May's dolphins or Dizzy's 2HS I can get out a FRC about 80% of the time. Practice, practice, and more practice makes FRC's easier. The only FRC that I've never been able to master with the characters I use, though, is Dizzy's Icespike FRC. So many hours in practice and still I can't get it down...

Oh, and before it gets out of hand, posters in this thread should only either describe a character (mostly seriously), or edit someone's list. Commenting on who should main who should be kept to a minimum here, if at all. I don't think we want people asking/discussing who they should main here, since this thread is trying to prevent that.

What he said. The only bumps in the right direction a person needs are the definitions of a character's playstyles, and vids on what their playstyles look like. Or hey, you might like Jin because he's a gorgeous blonde type even though we tell you to pick Ragna to begin. Or you might like Carl because of clap loop, even though he's goddamn hard to learn. Do we know your likes and dislikes? Your personal history? Your traumas and life experiences? No. We don't. Therefore, any advice we might give you may well be nothing at all, because again, you are the one that ultimately chooses who you want to use.

Spam what? Chains? They do crap damage by themselves and Nu's swords were better. Running around the screen? He's got a chain meter, and Tao does that better, thanks. He doesn't have a spammable auto combo special like ice car, and his D moves don't autocombo by mutton mashing, like Noel. I think he's safe.

I know that the voices are in the PS2 version. But there's a patch that allows you to put the PS2 voices in the PC version. It's awesome. I think the Fate/Unlimited Codes people might be worse than Arc Sys in terms of gameplay mechanic balance is characters are starting to get infinites all over the place.

Why just read the text? Play the game patched, and WITH VOICE. That's the FULL EXPERIENCE.

Really? But I've seen players do it in the middle of a combo... I thought that it was something to help extend a combo by making your moves have less recovery or something.
