  3. It's threads like these that make me want to destroy things. That being said, Makoto can combo into astral from a simple 5CC. Or a 6B. Or a throw. I've done all three and more. Anyway, most people won't even get to use an AH if they're vs a good player because of bursts, rapids and the like. If you can pull one off, then cool. If you get hit by one, don't get all mad because your opponent outplayed you.
  4. The color of the buckles are connected with the color of the bottom of the boots. I want the boots to have white in them, so the buckles have to stay white. The buckles in Dizzy's sprites are black, though, so it's not a huge loss. The color table makes it so that both tonfas have the same color. So, I made the tonfa Undine color and the circles on top Necro color to compensate.

    Then you play offline, not online. :D Well, I used to play online a lot, then I played some guys offline and IB is too pro. Not sure if I can go back so easily to online now.
  8. What? Makoto's got the damage output that Rachel can't compare to. And lobelia spam keepaway tactics only work for so long. Plus, I think Makoto's 2A may beat Rachel's 2A, but take this with a grain of salt.
  9. Yo Prinny, I just looked at the updated tier list for UNL 1.10. Okuu is now second from the top? WTF? Before 1.10 she was like near bottom, but now she's top tier. An she's above Yuyuko now. :psyduck: Remilia's now god tier. Alice is now second to last, it seems that her buffs didn't change her position much... :/ And Meiling is dead last... isn't it sad, China?

  15. If you ever see a Makoto jump at you, 2C. Always 2C. Makoto's air to ground pokes are shit, so a 2C will always hit her before she hits you.
  16. I agree, Makoto's air to air game is not the worst. j.B and j.A are amazing aerial pokes. It's her air to ground game that's complete shit.
  17. Haha what. Please, PLEASE. If you haven't actually played Makoto against other real players, don't give your opinions. That being said, I will say this a million times. Makoto has crap range, as is pretty bad under pressure. Bang's normals will beat most of Makoto's normals, and her parry is alright, but is easily baited. 6-4 or 6.5-3.5 in Bang's favor.

  19. I haven't tried fighting a good Hazama yet, but from my experience of playing Haz I say the matchup is either even, or 5.5-4.5 in Hazama's favor. Hazama can poke all day with chains on Makoto, seeing as she can't do crap from far away. Her projectile is also kind of useless as most Hazamas will jump and j.6D/j.5D poke anyway. However, once Makoto gets in close, Hazama can't do much without meter. Does Makoto orb beat standing Hazama 5D chain? Or does it cancel out?
  20. Ragna's range beats Makoto's normals by a long shot. You can 3C Ragna's 5B but the risk of getting a 2C fatal to the face isn't worth it. You can try parrying, but I still see this matchup in Ragna's favor. His normals are fast and have range, while Makoto's are fast but lack range.
  21. Alright. Posting this because I've had a long session with a Haku-men, and want to discuss some of my findings. In short: Haku 4C and j.C destroy Makoto's approach options. Projectile is really bad to use too, most of the time Haku can just 4C the startup. Haku can just sit back, poke with 4C and j.C, gain meter, and wait for Makoto to come to him. However, if Makoto can get in close, she'll have some advantage, but Haku can still IB counter/Hotaru to ruin your day. I say it's 6.5-3.5 in Haku's favor, at worst, or 6-4 Haku at best. Opinions?
  22. IT'S WHY IT IS THE ENDLESS FRONTIER, OHOHOHOHO.... Anyway, how you liking the game so far? You're not too far from the end, though. New Game+ is like WTF though. You get to keep all your gold and weapons, plus a sound test option, but at the price of like half exp and no bonus exp from special or support finishes. EXCEED needs to come out soon. ATLUS better hurry up their damned asses OR THERE WILL BE BLOOD. Truthfully, all I want to see is Suzuka's new Overdrive special where she heals your party... WITH MACHINE GUNS. :D
