  1. So would it be a good idea to go 5D -> 5A to avoid getting DP'd then go into mix-up? Also, is there anyway that we can make great use of Noel's new drive command 4D? I really like the idea behind it, but I haven't found a real great use for it. Thoughts?
  2. I don't know if this will help anyone or if it has been already stated, but you could try inputing the command for the next action of your combo at the start-up animation for your first action and repeat. I am finding that the game still reads the commands properly and your character performs the next action. Also, someonne mentioned half circles and (double) quarter circles on D-Pad. Take it slow and patiently input the command(s). Let's say you were in the middle of a mix-up and then wanted to finish with a DD. Basically, take your time and input the command for the DD during the last mix-up animaton you're in before you plan on using the DD. Make sure you properly make the motion, it should come out. There's plenty of time to do it.
  3. Go into training mode and set your dummy to standing/block everything. Practice your mix-ups and try different combinations. Think about how the opponent would react to certain situations and come up with a counter move to that. Once you get all of this down, go play a human and see how well you do.
  4. I appreciate the critique. I'm still learning, so you can expect me to play perfectly from the get go. I know how and what to do, I just don't trust drive attacks very much against Tager, so against him I'd usually just go for the air combo out of habit and try not to get hit. Jumping over him has been working so far, is there anything else I should take into consideration? Edit: I'll definitely work on my blockstrings.
  5. Oh, I'm well aware. However(correct me if I'm wrong), but Tager doesn't do so well in the air. I know the combo you mentioned will deal more damage, but I prefer to keep Tager in the air most of the time. That and I usually go for the air combo out of habit(I <3 Air Combos) except against characters like Jin, Litchi and Carl.
