Epic Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I can't give you a number since it was a few years ago, but back in Reload when I was learning the game I used to play against two amazing players using Faust and Johnny. I just started palying seriously while they've been going at it for a few years. We used to play for 3-4 hours, a few days a week and I'd get my ass kicked not winning even once. If I remember correctly I wasn't even able to steal a round from them. And that'd last for weeks/months until I finally started giving them some nice competition. I'll always be grateful for their patience with me. And I still hate Faust till this day.

TrueStyle Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Mines was 18 times on bbcse rags was everywhere. About 20 times on ssf4 and 14 times in ultra 8 losts was my highest in xrd . I normally lose a bunch of times in a row to one guy . Not a whole army of ppl
TeeJay Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I've lost 20 again someone in CS. In CT, I probably lost my first 35 matches using Rag until I really learned something about fighting games. I remember I was excited just to get 5B 5C 5D (2) carnage scissors, my first air combo and ID x3 loops. I've probably won at least 20 straight and lost 20 straight. Generally I'm stubborn so I played 11 matches vs Zidane (when he dabbled with Hazama) and got rocked until he left. I'd be that guy getting bodied by Nakumura until I'm broke. T_T
Garalian Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I think it was back in July in BBCP - I got rocked like 30 times in a row by everyone in the room, but I was too stubborn to quit since I'd often win -a- round in a match like every 5 or so matches.
APinkBuny Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Yea that's what it's been like for me. I'll either make a room or join a room and there will be that one person that no one beats. Even tho I haven't won a single game in 4 days I will say that I'm getting a lot better. Most of the matches are close they just get the last pixel in the end. I will say however it truly sucks when you "fight" a guy that just perfects you or near perfects you every single time.

Last night though, either I'm getting a little better or I finally found some people that are close to my skill level, I was able to break that losing streak and win about half of my fights. Can someone tell me what the Level number means near each player name in the lobby/room? It says I'm level 1 still, so how do I get to level 2?

The Level next to your name in player lobbies is your highest level of one of your characters on your R-Code, Ex. Since I'm Level 14 with May, it'll say Level 14 in the Player Match lobby.

APinkBuny Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 My losing streak is still going but I switched my main and I'm doing so MUCH better. Went back to my old main from my reload days (Axl). Now every match is a crazy close game. Only thing holding me back is execution which will come with time.

So during a 4 day period lets just say if my playing is a 4 out of 10. I was playing against' 7's. While during that time I did take rounds or come very close to taking rounds. The only thing that sucks is I'm a really solid player on Stick. Sadly I'm stuck using a PS4 pad until companies start making sticks under 100 bucks.

I've been playing with I-no and am like you.... I'll play whoever repeatedly no matter how many times I get beat... until they get bored of winning I guess. There was one guy playing as Leo who beat me 15 times in a row and I never took a single round. I've never played with a fightstick but might buy one to try when the ps4 version is available.

I finally gave up trying to rock my old main from my Reload days and went to my old Secondary Axl. With Axl I play much better. If your looking to get a fight stick the PS4 there are very few options. MadCatz TE2 $200 (Good Luck getting one as they sell out in seconds) Hori Rap 4 $150-180 with another 40-80 bucks in Shipping since its not sold in the US Hori Blaz Blue Stick $75-105 with 40-80 bucks in shipping since it to will not be sold in the US
