It screws up their gameplan and causes them to panic all the time, and resorting to j2DD most of the time. That means a free cloud summon, jump in, or forward dash. Not to mention if you hit with 3C you can combo straight into a Cloop.

Skye Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Train Nu to aim high. ADC barrier a lot, try a few fake out teleports. Close her in a corner, and force her to get away, high jump JB > JC > JD > loop setup, if you have heat then bait her burst, nothing feels better than looping her, rapid cancelling to block the burst then loop her again. When close to her, your only reason to block high is the second hit of 4B, if you can instant block, then have fun close to her, she has nothing if you instant block her 5C, and 3C, she'll most likely AP after 2 or 6C. That's my best approach on the match up, if she J2Ds, then forward dash--before it hits. If she manages to get away while cursed, Save that C bug, it works wonders, then on counter hit, you can J6B to get close, then let go of the B bug to go into a loop

That's the trade off you take when you use a character that relies totally on ridiculous projectiles and safe crossups. People don't like unfair matches. I'm sure you guys get frustrated when you fight Nus that lock you down the whole fight. my only problem with people hating on(CT arakune) is that rachel and nu get LESS hate and are MORE unfair. I only get frustrated about nu's who switch OFF their main character to fight against arakune.

I only get frustrated about nu's who switch OFF their main character to fight against arakune. I think I've seen a lot more hate towards Nu more than anything. Though personally, I'd rather fight a Nu than an Arakune. (Or rather; Copperdabbit's Ara to be specific.) =/

I'd rather fight another Arakune user than a Nu. In fact, I enjoy fighting against em. On CS,They pretty much destroyed Arakune. They pretty much took away everything.

It's hard to pressure her when her range is a lot longer than Arakune's... she can hit you from behind. I basically force a close fight... jd to j2a/c depending on the distance. Or, when finally cursing her, beating her at her own long distance game haha
