madaxe_munkee Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Kill Nirvana. When it comes down to it, Carl will usually prioritize his health bar over hers, since it's low and he doesn't want to lose. Get a hit in whenever he gives you the chance, he's alot weaker without her.

wighti Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Is there any decent options of getting out of the ground loop once it kicks in and when you get the chance to block? The few games I've played I've had major issues with this - something like block, 2b followed by 2d seemed to work half the time, so I'm guessing it's up to the carl player to see it and have Nirvana smack me out of the air.( Atleast that's what happened most of the time the 2d failed.) There anything else decent one can do in that situation. (Aside from the obvious "Dont get looped, fool" :D )

Dont drive unless there's a huge window or if carl makes a glaring mistake. Dont go into the air next to Nirvana while carl isn't doing anything, you'll get swatted out of the sky and comboed. After you get away stay far away from Nirvana as best you can, try to keep carl between you can nirvana.

If anyone's going to, it's gonna be me. Also, work in throw mixup in the corner. iirc, that's Noel's best damage, right? And Carl has shit health. Being that your character's mix up isn't that strong, spam throws. Fish for throw reject miss. wighti Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Aight, fair enough. Figured the 2D working was a bit of a fluke, just wanted to confirm it. The other thing I was thinking that is it, anywhere remotely safe, to try to IAD if you manage to get a few pokes in when he's looping you?
