Ha told ya i had improved a lot yeah i have no problem doing DPs on a stick i actually like it better cause i half ass it with a controller and its not always a garauntee that itll come out. 720s i just donno once i get the hang of them ill be fine cause i cant throw them off colliders or anything which limits me greatly. Not sure if i need to slow it down or what when im do them been testing things out.

when i do colider 720's i start from 9 and go clockwise, i don't know i do a lot of weird things, still can't do that 5A 720 though it gives me purple grabs. just give yourself muscle memory and if you still mess up then spin faster and longer, so no matter where you stop 720 comes out.

yeah ive been riding the gate for the most part i cant smoothly start somewhere else when colliders end at 3 so thats usually where i start rolling from, its something ill have to try though.

i just switch to 9 right after, don't worry you'll pull it off! edit edit: i didn't want to double post but last night i was fighting a haku-men player, i decided to use 6A for oki on haku so he can't jump out and he threw out a 6D on wake-up, before he can "catch" me i used 720 and caught him, i wanna know could he have jumped after the catch wiffed since my 720 invul was the reason why it wiffed or was he doomed?

I don't know if this is new, but it's new to me and I've never seen another Tager do it. 6C CH delay Bsledge 5C 6A collider Bsledge bolt 2C collider 5811 damage. Meterless ridiculous damage punish. Great for gale and dividah. Without bolt you can do sledge follow up for 5060 damage, or a sledge tech trap. Plus it's flashy as hell:v:

I was playing some SF4 the other day and I was nailing Gief's 360 pile-driver. I've been playing BB with Tager some lately and I can't hit his 360 or 720 moves to save my life. How strict is the timing in BB vs that in SF4? Or perhaps the move has to be done in only one direction? All tips welcome. Thanks!!

only do 3/4 of a circle...and i would imagine since sf4 is faster when it comes to doing moves...you should slow down a bit. i use from opposite of sledge. 632147A or B.

SF4 lets you get away with 6327+P, so you are probably doing improper 360s. Just like SF4 lets you do a DP by doing 3,3+Punch. I wouldn't rely on learning execution from that game.

i know this might not be the best place to put it but i will say this for kicks.

UNLIMITED TAGER ROCKS.

he is the perfect embodiment of tager he has a air dash a double jump and can run through projectiles having imunity to mid and high attacks.

sadly he walks a hell of alot slower.

DOESNT FUCKING MATTER HE HAS 2 SPARK BOLTS AND HE STARTS OUT WITH THE METER FULL!

his get be is changed to half circle back forward or 643216C and the pull is strong MAD STRONG AND CAN PULL YOU OUT OF MID AIR!

his drives are faster and 5D doesn't stun you...

in other words he's what tager should have been in CT.

oh yeah colider has head invul. (confrimed?)

good stuff, thought i write this down since this is general discussion.

If you combined unlimited and normal, that's what we should've gotten. Not a slow, red box.

Oh yeah. U Tager is mad fun to play as... For about 2 days. Then the damage to your skill will become evident. I don't really want to play U Tager anymore. Maybe after a good long while.

@ Axis By the by it's not half circle back c. The GETB is 4C. That's it.

720 with Unl Tager is just 4C.

Blocked spark bolt + 4C = nearly guarantee 720.

Aside from that, I agree with Garrett. Don't get comfortable playing Unlimited Tager, you skill level with regular Tager will go down fast.

Unl Tager's GETB is only 4C? Damn, I thought it was just 4BC. Damn, now its even easier! Although the pull on it is ridiculous even for an unlimited character... Anyone else catch that his 2D now a full screen charge that will hit up to 4 times??? Also he has a forward dash and both a back air dash and a forward air dash. His ground forward dash is absolutely awesome. He starts out slow and then he turns into a damn train and just tramples the whole fucking stage! Of course because of that, his standard walking speed is dreadful now! He goes about as fast as Rachel's frog in CS...His forward air dash is hilarious because it looks like hes trying to fly but he hardly goes anywhere. Its about the same distance as his regular backdash. And he also the power to double jump now too! So in other words, they made him a normal moving charcter with really odd speed fluctuations... His Drives start up about 3 times faster but have horrible lag time after. Its quite the pain in the ass to time it.

lately i have been screwing around with counter assault if your opponent has no DP then it puts them in a bad spot, if they roll behind you you get a 360B, if they neutral you can throw out a meaty or 720 to beat pokes or jump outs and if they roll you can 2D to put yourself closer, it seems to work best in the bad match-ups. carl, nu, and rachel...mainly because they don't see it coming it won me alot of matches. just saying if you guys haven't used it you might wanna give it a shot...only bad thing is you lose 50 heat. -_- yeeeeeaaaaaah i hate that too.

i forgot to mention i need to test this shit offline, online won't tell me how a real player would react, just show me what a player would do if they get planted and never see it coming. in other words its no good until i see its potential off line, so far that recovery isn't a big deal if they never tech then i can throw a meaty on the quick rise i'm pretty damn sure if its not a special or DD it shouldn't have a problem.

i.m.o. Tager's CA is so bad that no one ever uses it and thus people never really expects it. Same principle why buttonmashers can happen to land a hit when you should've been able to Perfect them (basically), they can throw out an unsafe move or do something no non-buttonmasher would ever do, they're unpredictable. So long as you have a plan behind it, it could work (opponent is magnetized, you CA into 720 or whatever you come up with). Sure it's a gamble, but it's unavoidable to not gamble when playing Tager. Ante up! It's time for Gambling Apocalypse Tager :vbang:

Then stack the cards in your favor. Never go all in with all your chips at the table when you have big slick. Watch what your opponent is favoring and know their hand before you even look at yours. If you can do that, then you never have to gamble.

You're just playing the odds.

Since someone mentioned Tager's CA I'll share a funny story that happened yesterday. I was fighting a Litchi who used Thirteen Orphans when I was between the staff and her. I tried to barrier but I didn't take into account that Tager was guarding the wrong way so it came out as a CA. Litchi got hit by it even though the stomp actually missed her and it looked HILARIOUS. I was dying but I got hit by T.O. because of it :p

seriously i feel like i reached my limit online wise, i can IB 720, backdash 720, tick 720 i can do it all now...guess its to say i ran out of things to learn with tager... need more things to learn gah.

Uh... Master magna Tech wheel. I find Magna tech harder to do then any 720 situation.

god dammit garrett i lol'd reading this...if magna tech wheel had invul instead of super armor then people wouldnt be able to RC against it...mtw in high level play is so full of fail.

720 off 5A/2B whiff seems to be the next logical progression, unless you already know those.
