Had quite a few picks first tbh:

1. Jin - Katana? Ice? Kewl! - Then I played storymode and realized he's a maniac. Then I read up on him and saw that ppl called him a noobchar => dropped

2. Nu - ROBOT GURL! - see above => dropped

3. Noel - Girl with Ass & guns? Check - My fingers cramp/fall off when doing her combos => dropped

4. Ragna - Easy to use? Great - but dropped for:

5. Hazama. Hat, funny sounds and crazy laughing during Mizuchine. By far not enough crazy laughing overall, but funny slishy-slashy combos in the air. I like!

I started off with Carl as my main didn't work out I like his play style but I'm not crafty enough to play him properly.

Hazama: I started playing him cause of how his moves looked the whole slashing thing was cool plus he reminds me of a yakuza type character when he fights ragna with his terumi voice [jp].

Tsubaki: easy to play looks good in a school uniform? lol

Makoto: I honestly didn't know she was going to be playable, when I was playing CT I made a joke with my roomate that it would be funny if she was playable.

Once I heard she was going to be a boxing type I was ready for her :o . I've always been into Boxing type characters, I was hardcore into Vanessa from KoF series so I was hoping she would be similar :[ its a shame her unlimited version is like Dudley I wasn't to happy about that. Dudley was an ok for a boxing character but there were so many different and better ones.

/\-11: Nu whos not Nu. I knew alittle bit how to play Nu in CT [who doesn't?] So I tried 11 out and shes cool but can easily addicting to play so I dropped her as a sub rather focus on other characters now.

As of now I stopped using Lamba as a sub and am now using Hazama. His flying across the screen reminds me of Tekkaman Blade from TvC, and so far it's working out well. I mean I'm still losing a lot, but I can definitely see improvement since my opponents are at least super close to a knock out.

I started out as a Noel player because the idea of "fighting guns" amused me. Also because she's hot

I then switched to Tager because I'm lazy and would rather do a 5 hit combo for a sizable chunk of life, rather than a 20 hit combo for the same. I also discovered my play style is definitely taking advantage of mistakes, and Tager is awesome at punishing. But I became a one trick pony in CT; I literally couldn't play anyone else except Tager.

So when CS came out, I vowed to pick up an alt. I had already made a list in my head on who I was going to try. As predicted, Mu-12 and Makoto were characters that really meshed with me, as they're both (hot) interesting and new. As a previous poster also stated, I too am a huge fan of boxing characters, so Makoto was a must. I picked up 12 so I can have a character that is capable of zoning, but can also have close combat competence if needed.

If Valkenhayn is anything like Slayer, I'm definitely going to be giving him a chance too.

When BBCT was coming out, I was dead set on using Noel because of the Tetragrammaton Cleric references. Shit was HELLA dope. Then she was noob masher character = Dropped before console came out.

Then when console came out, I was like, "Yo! This bird Litch is DOOOOOPE!" Then my execution sucked, so dropped.

Then I started watching videos and saw Nu. I was again like, "Yo. This chick is DOOOOOOPE!" But then I had to mash D all day and dropped.

Then I saw dude with a big ass sword, right? And I was like, "This Sephiroth looking mofo is kinda cool. Hella manly!" Chose my main from there on.

When BBCS came out, I was like, "I'm picking up Mu, yo. Shit's dope. LAZZZZZERZZZZZ!" This was before I got the game. Then I didn't actually do anything with her. Dropped (kinda). Will be picking her back up eventually.

Then I saw the CRAWSS COUNTAH! Video with Makoto and I was DONE LOOKING. I bought the game the next day and bought Makoto. Been maining her hilariously averagely since there.

Tried to pick up Bang, but I got bored (?).

Might pick up Ranga for those times where I want to make people ragequit. Plus there's not much of him to "pick up". Mash 5B and do something after that.

I abuse the SHIT out of Hakumen's newfound zoning abilities. My favorite thing in the world is 8C and 4C.

Will be picking up Valkenhayn. Don't know why, but I'll get him and play around with him some.

I used to main Rachel, but I decided to start subbing someone else. I chose Ragna. Eventually, I got better with Ragna then I was with Rachel.

like i've said before i'm totally rushdown oriented, be it in Fighters, CCGs, whatever. but when i FIRST start a fighter a i bounce around the board ALOT. with vanilla IV my first character was.. Chun Li (i laugh at my stupidity now) now i main sagat and sub Ryu/Ken. but i went through damn near the whole cast before i found them.

i go with who "feels" right to me, and if it happens to be a cool bad ass character, then that's a bonus too!

I like female characters or male characters that have good manners or are rich and snobby in a way. Since that's more often females than males, the male characters I like are usually just the big gorilla type of male characters which end up as secondaries). I don't mind hard work at all. I care about appearance. >___<

I haven't been playing BB long. I actually got into he game cause I saw a (very bad) cosplay of Taokaka at a an anime convention this year. Found out she was from Blazblue and was like "Oh looks interesting." So my roommate got CT. I loved Tao's design and character SO much, and I mained her for a few months or so solely based on that. I sucked terribly with her though. Eventually we got our friends into it too, then our more idiotic guy friend discovered how to spam bugs with Arakune. We were all serious scrubs, so we got spammed to death. A lot.

I had remembered that the friend of mine who told me who the Taokaka cosplayer was had ranted about how uber-broken the character called Nu was. I wanted to beat down our spammy friend, since he was pissing everyone off, so I learned a few combos and....god damn I had a lot of fun with her. I beat the hell out of our spammy friend...then got pretty serious about actually learning how to play for real. I now Main Lambda in CS, and don't even intend to drop her. =3

The moment I saw Tager I knew he was going to be my main. I like using grapplers and Tager appeared to be the only character to fit the bill. I found him very fun to play so I stuck with him ever since. I tried using other characters as a sub but I didn't get anywhere with them. Though I'm really liking Makoto and I'm traning with her now so I hopefully can be above scrub level with her eventually

I floundered mainless in CT. I dabbled in Tager and Litchi, but I wasn't really drawn to anyone. I wanted Makoto to be playable. Fast forward to CS: I thought Tsubaki looked nice, but I couldn't get into her. When Makoto was announced I got very excited.

The first time I played her against a friend, after we had tired ourselves out he said something like "I can tell you have more fun playing her than anyone else" and that was that.

SolarMisae is my roommate. So you pretty much know how we got the game...but one of my friends suggested that I try and cosplay Litchi (I...don't have her boobs though ._.;; ) but I do have this love of mature/strong female characters...just when I do all of them tend to have...big boobs. XD Litchi was no different. I play a scrubby Litchi....only because I'm still learning, I still have a job to go to, and I've been playing since April. I've been attached to her ever watching videos of her combos. I didn't care how hard they were going to be, I wanted to learn seriously after Solar got serious with BB.

SolarMisae jokingly calls me "Boobie Lady" sometimes...and...I've taught myself to respond to it XDD

Don't have a main, there's not really a single character I really like to play (so far) in BB.

I've dabled in Tager, Hakumen, Carl, Jin, Ragna, Noel, Arakune, Hazama and jump between them.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Valkenhayn might be my style and I keep my toes crossed hoping Platinum isn't my style.

After seeing hazama in the true end of CT i was interested in him and after watching gameplay videos, It confirmed my decision.

I have yet to find someone to sub but depending on how much i like valkenhayn when he`s released, I may main him and hazama will be subbed or vise versa.

Also, Valkenhayn`s theme is epic

After weeping a single tear for my previous maining of Rachel, I looked for something that would suit my playstyle, and Mu immediately caught my eye without ever seeing how she played. Played her for a bit, and I was already thrilled to how she played. It was even funnier that she had a color scheme of Dizzy, as Dizzy was a character I really loved playing a lot, so that sealed the deal for me. Still playing her atm, may switch to Valk depending on how he plays, and will definitely switch back to Rachel if she becomes playable again.

No main I simply just play anyone I feel like online except Carl & ara. I have no problem picking a main in GG though.

I don't know if I posted here yet, but this is how I went through main selection (which, didn't follow through with some):

Bang (didn't follow through): Nice, a ninja guy! He looks like a much more grown up Chipp, which is cool in my book.

Litchi (didn't follow through): Wow...I used Bridget and Jam in GG, and she looks like the best of both combined into one!

Jin: Not really digging the ice, though the freezing mechanic is cool, but I like his character and movelist, so i'll use him.

Carl: Hmm, looks really unique and technical, should be fun.

Tsubaki: I really like her battle look, and the fact that she doesn't look like a slut like the rest of the female cast, and as well, her movelist is interesting and seems like a little of Order Sol. Order Sol was really cool, and really good, so that will be fun.

Makoto: High damage combos, mix up options, Drive allowing for much combo + damage extension, and the squirrel thing is kinda cute too, yes please!

I like the 'extreme butler' concept so I want to main Valkenhayn, but from the beginning (CT) I liked the ice concept so I went with Jin.

Wanted to main Nu in CT because I liked her character, but she was too strong, and zoning isn't really my style anyway. Picked Bang because his nails, Fu Rin Ka Zan and Bumpers all seemed interesting to me.

In CS, Bang became too strong, and Lambda was more balanced and a bit better close range, so I swapped. Currently playing her, but my wait for my real main is almost over. September will be a wondrous month.
