G4ymBoy Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I knew Litchi would be my main when i saw her, i played I-no in GG, i prefer playing the slutty girl in fighting games. Trust me it is not for their looks, i liked the electric guitar as a weapon and i like the idea behind Litchi's floating staff. Plus her dress is flowy. Her moves are pretty and moderately damaging.
Rampage Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I knew Litchi would be my main when i saw her, i played I-no in GG, i prefer playing the slutty girl in fighting games. That's why alot of people play her.
Yggjrasil Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I picked ragna at 1st since i was a decent sol, but lately ive only been playing with rachel basically because shes a beast. This.
ConHuevosGuey Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I was going to main Ragna when I heard about the game. He looked closest to Sol which is what I felt comfortable with. After playing the game, I was disappointed with Ragna so I switched to Arakune. But then I saw Tager. I thought he was just the lame token grappler every fighting game usually has until I learned about his magnetism aspects and that he was a grappler with neat combos, not just "grab you when your close, otherwise all I have are 1-2 hit pokes". Thus, my main became tager and I've been smashing Nu's and Jin's into the concrete since. I still use Arakune every now and then.
Evertras Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Throw > 5DD > 6DD > 2DD > jDD > jDD > 214D The first time I pulled that off, I knew there was no going back from that dark pit. (edit) I mained Dizzy in GG, so I look at it like this is Dizzy's Revenge.
thegame4ever Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Arakune is eddie like, and he has an insane laugh, it was a match made in heaven. No Slayer like yet
Potemtager Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 When I played guilty gear I mained as Eddie but eventually made Potemkin my main. When Blazblue came I narrowed it between Tager, Arakune, and Bang. I watched the DVD and Mike Z made it very clear that I should main as Tager, but I sub as bang because no one wants to beat by him.
LordRaisho Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Decided that after playing arakune i didnt want to ever be trapped in his combos so I picked up nu and she works quite well. btw im still frustated against the really good arakunes.
Nbr44 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I falled for Tao at first sight. I just happen to be a cat person, so my choice was quick. Hell, I could almost say I bought this game for Taokaka alone.

Zenoxio Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I main'd Ky in GG. I considered main'ing Jin. Tried him out when I got the game, was a perfect fit. Plus I love swords.
Hyakuretsu Ken Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 i'm goin to guess it's hakuwomen! Ragna initially because he is cooler than sol but i'm not sure anymore. not a fan of the pants he would be at a disadvantage if arakune threw some insects into them! Taokaka depending on her face looks. if it's a big cat face then no. ye call me shallow if you want but it's just weird to see a big cat face with a mostly human body. if she was full cat like jubei then that's ok. Then I will say Noel the "young boy" i mean girl with gunkatas lol
ViridianSabre Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Me: "Oh, wow. There is a twelve year old kid who goes toe to toe with all these playas' with super powers, and all he has is a robo-maid." Carl: Like being armed with a butterknife and a cannon at the same time, and you have to set up the cannon while fighting. Too cool. Litchi was just the character I most quickly adapted to playing. Also asking people "How many orphans do you reckon I've got there?" makes me happy.
G4ymBoy Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 That's why alot of people play her. i only admire the slutty girl cause she has a certain power over men, as a gay man that power would be desirable, plus her pole is big
True_Tech Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 based totally on art when the game was announced in feb 2008 i said i would play ragna (he had a dope jacket a buster sword and geese pants) and then based on art and win pose i hated on jin haaaaaaaaard. rachel had a catrella she would be my second, noel has guns and i got plenty of cable jokes (mvc2) and rap metaphors for guns she would also be played. come june 30th 2009 and i'm playing ragna rachel and jin pretty equally and noel a bit on the side. then i play friends and online and everyone is rocking ragna so i kinda step back on him not wanting to play a million mirror matches. i play ragna story mode and learn jin is a crazy psycho with dope looking combos so he becomes my second cause none of my friends are playing him and i love cool combos. rachel is still being played and then i go play randoms online. everyone is playing jin and mashing ice car again not wanting to play mirrors i play rachel more and more, eventually i come to realize rachel is my best followed up by jin and my ragna is sub par. With this i realize i don't want to focus on 2 somewhat execution heavy characters at the same time (rachel and noel) and rachel becomes my main :D -the end
Shinobi Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I still don't have a main. Had the game for a little over a week and have messed around with all the characters but none of them feel natural for me to use. Which is just odd to say because in every fighting game there is usually one character that a player will feel absolutely comfortable with but this game isn't giving me that luxury. It seems like I'm going to have to force myself to main a character.
AsterLudkweiz Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Taokaka because her in-game quotes and her victory dance make me smile.

VVSolVV Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 i always used to play poster boy characters (sol in gg, kilik in sc, jin in tekken, ken in sf4) so i wanted to get away from the poster boys. thus, my attention went to litchi because she has cool looking combos and because i also wanted to play someone that is not very popular, thus making my name recognizable as one of the best litchi's is easier. And most importantly, she's got the biggest tits.
ThePretender Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 And most importantly, she's got the biggest tits. Perfectly valid reason. Also, mind if I put this in my sig? But yeah, Litchi's pretty fun to play with, if I ever get a 360, I'm definitely going to practice, so she becomes the best of my subs.
DoomieJ Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I pick characters i like the character design of. Hence i play completely different characters every game. Testament, Tager, E. Honda, Dragunov, Mitsurugi, etc. They just have to be freaking sweet.
BloodyPuppy Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Well I like really mobile characters, and the first character I tried was Noel. I liked her, and played as her for a bit until I tried Bang and got hooked on him. Love playing as him.
grimlock Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I decided to pick up one of the basic characters, either Ragna or Jin. I liked Jin better because in Rpg's, my favorite elemental magic usually has some form of ice.
