Axl's theme is really growing on me. At first I thought it was just a cool throwback to MOTWK if sloppy somewhat, but after listening to it more and "getting it" it's becoming one of my favorites, his character really shows through it and it has a nice G&R feel to it at parts. Underrated theme if you ask me. I like it over Make oneself but MOTWK is still tops it. 

 

I-no's theme initially I found disappointing as I didn't think it fit her much either, but it grew on me and some parts kind of do fit her really, although the chorus not so much. It's actually one of my favorite new themes but probably one of my least favorite I-no themes, if it makes sense.

 

Slayer's theme is pro though, easily the best, probably the only one better than his old theme.

 

Idk, i feel like after his stellar work in the BB games and Overture Xrd's soundtrack just feels a bit weak and unpolished. It's more on Hard Corps Uprising direction and level, which isn't bad, but not GG standard. Another thing, why is Daisuke having trouble writing music for some of his own characters!? Faust's theme is probably his most unfitting(and worst) yet, I-no's could fit her better, Venom's is just like "yeah this sounds cool here ya go," Ky's sounds like a reject BB piece(sorry Eclair fans)...just seems weird since he's usually good with that.

I love i-nos theme, favorite xrd theme. Everything else I can listen pretty well except for sol's, I still like it, but its kinda dull to me, still metal though:D

Okay so funny story

There' sa live version of ride the fire

However, it ain't like outrage doing it, turns out some other group sang it I. Somewhat choppy English.

The good news however, it kinda cemented the lyrics (At least I assume that) of "The Doctor's Suit Comes off!" And "The doctor finds your pain" etc. etc.

I just looked up ride the fire, it's a video with a bunch of katakana/kanji, and it's video image is just sol's xrd art.

The instruments were good, but the singing made it hilarious.

With some tweaks, these songs could actually kind of work out.

 

And people said Childish Killer was bad with the engrish.

While the Engrish is pretty poor, it's still really easy to know what the song is on about.

 

The song is about some incoming calamity and how they (presumably Sol and Ky) alone have to stand up to it "back to back".

I'm doing a review of CP on a Finnish magazine and I'd like to know for sure ('cause I'm not 100% sure), was it Yuhki alone who did the arrangements of the old tracks or was there someone another too?

Heavy Day is dealing with abstract concepts.

 

Childish Killer is supposed to be straightforward and I'm still to figure out what it means to "fill blissfully" and "save mind so wrong", personally.

I'd assume it's 'feel blissfully' misspelled or something, but I dunno. I avoid that song like the fucking plague.

 

The only good thing Childish Killer ever gave me was when I was using Makoto against Tsubaki, and I used Big Bang Smash, where Makoto yells out 'IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF... THAT STUPID SINGING!!!'. I laughed for days at that.
