Well they found a way to make the already pretty game look even prettier. Stoked for a new Guilty Gear regardless.

Jeah, Rokumon is dank as fuck. I think it might be my new favorite Xrd character theme, everything just hits the right marks for me. I like how it's built on the foundation of Momentary Life while still carrying its own as a unique theme. The guitar is so aggressive and all those weird japanese instruments (like that japanese.... guitar...thing and that japanese flute... thing) really give you that "angry samurai not to be fucked with" vibe. DAMN. Rokumon is awesome. edit- also some of the more aggressive guitar riffs sound alot like the ones heard in Testament's Down For Life, which is awesome since it's my favourite Testament song so that's another win for Rokumon haha.

GCYoshi also says that air Deja Vu does open interesting new opportunities, especially with Task A Prime. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I believe the Bed will live on!

I like to think the mellow piano part is Answer putting you on hold. I agree it's a great theme

Couple questions, from people who have gotten a hang of Susan. What do you think of him so far? Thoughts? Is he lacking or in a good spot/hope on the horizon? And is there any sweet high level matches I can watch of him? So far I've only seen some combo vids. I wanted to see how he fares against people.

Is his laser sword special (I think 236 D) work well as a poke? Even a zoning tool?

Is there a trick to Raven's air to ground combos off an airdash? The pros make it look so easy but it seems no matter how much I try the combo doesn't continue as Raven lands. It's a part of my game I really want to master since I plan on using this character

His needle projectiles look hella fast. His lockdown potential with the airdash and the buzzsaw thing look like it's gonna be killer. And those normals...! f.5S and 2D specifically. Looks like his mid range game is going to be great. I cannot wait for this dude.

I'm gonna miss the over the top creepiness factor of the original Nightmare Theater. From what I've seen, Revelator's Nightmare Theater looks too serene. But maybe that's what they're going for. A Dream Theater kek

I have a feeling Johnny's Xrd theme is going to be more universally liked than his old theme. That's my prediction. I also hope it has the same kinda 'feel' as Silver Neelsen's theme from F-Zero GX (well, the guitar parts, not so much the awkward euro-techno lol)

LOVING the 2S>2D Gatling. Just awesome. Buffed both his supers and now you can get some damage in the corner off Sinusoidal Helios. But Déjà vu Task C staggers on hit now? Hmmmmmm....

Yeah, that was the one thing I was a bit worried about with the changes to BS repulsion.
