I think I'm getting better in Accent Core by the week since I actually practice now. My Ky's pretty decent, and all I need to do is just grow out of Street Fighter habits and such.

I want to learn Anji or maybe Bridget as a sub, so I'll probably work on these two before I decide to grow some balls and actually enter a GG tournament.

You probably haven't been playing long enough to be used to the guardpoints yet. You weren't doing too bad on combos last time I saw you, just doing the wrong ones. Sit down in training mode and work out the bad habits. Maybe you could set the dummy to throw fireballs at you and work on guardpoints that way if timing is your problem.

Part of the problem is he's trying guardpoints against ABA...and doing so is like playing Russian Roulette with 1 chamber empty. Hoping against hope to guardpoint through fb danzai is tough.

Hey Just giving the Ohio Match thread a headsup. I'm going to be throwing a Gaming Shin Dig at our local Pizza shop December 3rd, 2010 5pm-1:30 am. They have a party room that we are able to utilize with all necessary to game. We are planning on having many different fighting games, or games in general going on. However we are definitely going to have 2 tv's rocking GGXXAC at all times, more if demand is high for it. We are expecting a turnout of our local crew of 10-20 people and I was posting it on here so if anyone wants to drop on by they are more than welcome to do so.

Again the games probably getting played will be GGXXAC (x3 PS2), MVC2 (PS2), SSF4(x2 PS3), SSF3rd Strike(PS2), BB:2(x2 PS3), Arcane Heart (PS2), Smash Bros melee(x2 GC), CVS2 (GC), Battle Fantasia (PS3), Tekkan 6 (PS3).

Realize this isn't all about GGXXAC or BB:2, however just gaming in general. For GGXXAC competition were gonna have a SL(ZEZ), VE(DSH), ZA(ChippyChap?), AX(XeroStyle), TE(Ben?), KY(DBK?)

I know I'm out of practice but it should be fun nonetheless Anyone notated with a ? means they want to come however not guaranteed. Ill check back on this thread to see if anyone was interested.

Its not a tournament, It's just me throwin a gaming party at our local pizza shop. We are just gonna showup play from 5pm-1:30am do a whole bunch of casuals in a bunch of different games. Most of us play some AC as well as all assorted fighting games. So their is NO prize, not a tournament just a bunch of people showing up and playing fighting games 10-20 not including any comin from Ohio Dustloop.

For details about it I am updating the thread below all the time as Information gets brought together etc.

Needs to bait fb danzai, guard or IB (Makes this easier) and then fujin. Trying to GP it doesn't give you a tasty combo.

The Guilty scene is a handful of people of those 10-20 however, most of our local gamers for all walks of gaming will show up.

I can really only speak for myself, I personally got busy and stopped playing as much. I believe we are all doing school, working etc. I'd like to, however I just have to find the time to go do this shit. Hence why I'm throwin this shin dig. Get people interested again, and get everyone together to let's rock and etc.

No, feel free to speak for everyone. I do it all the time. If they fail to show up and correct you it's their fault. Also, they probably won't see that you spoke for them and thus won't know any better.

Sounds cool SH_. I would have invited you personally however I was informed that DBK/Eddie had already done so. Would be sweet if Paul and or Matt showed up. I know DSH hasn't played against an actual Eddie before and would want the experience. I also find Paul's Dizzy highly amusing, one of the workers at that Donatos will be working but recently started playing the game and chose dizzy. I would want him to watch a few matches starring Paul if possible. However I realize how busy everyone is and what not. I'm really in the mindset of the more the merrier. If we get a good turnout I'll start trying to set this up more often based on who's the most interested.

Really want to thank all of you who came out. Was a blast and we got a larger showing than expected. I counted 27 people in the room at once, with a grand total of 31 people showed all night. I really couldn't thank you enough. Considering the turnout I will be doing this again, in about a months time. I will post as soon as I know the date it will occur. I plan on having it be multiple games/systems again. I was very pleased that we had 9 TV's and a laptop with emulation running. Thanks again SH_ for hanging out.

For those concerning spacing issues. I am moving soon, when things settle down and things look possible I will throw said shin dig at my current abode if it is possible as opposed to Donatos which seemed able to hold 30+ with 10 TV's however not comfortably.
