bloby Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 im in cincinnati for the rest of the week. i didnt expect to be able to play any BB while out here so i didnt bring anything at all :/ im considering going to AL this thursday to sate some withdrawals, so just to clarify is this the AL at the cincinnati mall? also if i showed up with nothin but my hands would it work out for me to play?

If you can find anyone playing BB you can probably borrow a stick from someone, or just get a pad form Jesse if you prefer that. Will you be in town for the weekend? Rocket Punch 3's this weekend, if we get enough people we'll be running BB on Sunday.

Not a big event, but we'll be playing BlazBlue (and other anime games as well). It's at Arcade Legacy in the Cincinnati Mall ( www.arcadelegacyohio.com ), entry is $10. You can also drop by on Thursday nights for Fight Night, only $5 to get in and there are a few BB players there. Hope to see you there.

Maybe I'll pick it up a little when I get back in town. My issue with GG, and this will sound scrubby, is that it's just too damn fast! I play VS, and that's fast, but not GG fast imo. The mixups are constant, heavy, and almost unseeable. I've never even played it! I just saw a lot of it. How someone even blocks in that game is mildly mind-blowing.

Jesse has also offered to extend the usual Fight Night entry fee ($5) to anyone who comes out for the event, and it still includes full admission and free play on everything there.
