Kamui Moon Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 man i really should've gone on saturday. matt: we started playing vampire a lot around a year ago when everyone was absolutely bored out of their minds with marvel. not super serial or anything, just for a fun distraction and we've kept playing off and on ever since. i'm basically the best here because no one can deal with the wolf. mac: ac+r slayer <3 ps fuck kliff holy shit kaimon: we've been running console combat for almost 4 years now, but it didn't start getting really big til around 2 years ago. our next local is gonna be sunday the 21st http://consolecombat.net/index.php?state=&location=events&id=250&cur_date=2012-10-21&calid=68& will people enter gg if i run it that day? i just really want to play.

She was the second-worst character in a pretty unbalanced game, and playing as her was fun but miserable. I swore I'd never let it happen again. In Soulcalibur V, Seong Mi-Na left and the only character that looked fun to play was Z.W.E.I. He, too, is a terrible character. After August's Console Combat, I actually just kind of dropped Soulcalibur V out of frustration and swore I'd never let it happen again. So long story short I think I'm having more fun playing Labrys than Aigis in P4A. It's two weeks before the next Console Combat, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up switching to a much worse character with almost no time to practice, and I could not be more furious with myself. Yeah 14's pretty good considering there was no advance notice. We also had one guy drop out early and a few who could've registered but weren't feeling up to it, so I'm hoping we can still get numbers like this even without Indy storming the gates.

So basically your ranbats are more than a third the size of EVO.

I haven't been playing fighting games for that long, I've been mostly playing P4A now. I was at the last Season's Beatings and hoping to try to make it to next console combat monthly. Not sure if I could get there whenever the P4A tournament starts, but I'd still like to go and try to get some casuals in.

I'm going to create a new identity and post up here like I'm a new player from Cincy looking for some games. Also Eric, just claim your GG space and set up. Keep playing by yourself or with Darago until someone stops by. That's how it starts. Also I'm sure JP players would come out for the right price... Umm... can't wait for +R. AC on psn/xbl is cool, but doesn't mean much to me as I don't expect to be able to play online much with my connection speed.

Just be loud and be there, and eventually when they realize GG isn't going away, they'll decide can't beat 'em, join 'em.

I've rented it a long time ago and had fun with it, even though I really didn't know what I was doing back then. I also might be doing something around the time the P4A tournament starts so I probably won't get there until like 5-5:30ish.

There should be a GG station set up for a good portion of the day, so if you show up we can get some matches in. I'll be the college-prep-looking white guy playing anime games. EDIT: Hey, so I have this game called Yomi. It's a card game designed by David Sirlin that's supposed to simulate a fighting game, and I think it does it pretty well. Would anyone have any interest in playing it at Console Combat? The game set is kind of bulky so I want to know if anyone will actually play with me before I lug it out. Sounds like maybe they do? Also, Destin wants you to go split the +R thread into a real +R thread and an AC+ 360/ps3 thread. Go do it, Mod guy.
