I figure it'd be more fun than just staying at home either way. I'm crossing my fingers for the ps2 controller adapter but even if we end up playing on 360 controllers I think it'd still be worth going.

As far as Augusta goes, I'm still not sure yet since I have a final Friday and then another one Wednesday. So it really depends on how the final + work goes on Friday and how much material I have to cover for the final on Wednesday. As of right now though, it looks like it's leaning towards more of the "going" side but we'll see. Most of my friends and roommates play LFD2 and such but when they do play within the fighting genre, it's usually SF4 so no go there.

It was kinda bogus that we went down to Augusta just so I could play with Atlanta people. I played 3 matches in the tourny and all 3 were against people from our caravan >: ( and I kept accidentally bursting... ahhhh!!! Ah well, I got a casual in with Mr Salt at least teehee. It was a cool tournament, though. They had a neat set up and it was fun to go with our little group. Look forward to seeing some of you folks at Combo Breaker!

Didn't think a Carl would win the tourney even with the broken clap loop but way to go making it up to second with Tager. Was there quite a bit of people there? Now I'm regretting not having been able to go. Once this final is over I'm just going to indulge myself in some more BB.
Smashly Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 There weren't a ton of people doing the blazblue tournament, though a fair amount signed up for Tekken and SF4 I think. Most of the people playing Blazblue were from Atlanta, with I think 12 people total. Not only did a Carl player get 1st, but a Carl player got 3rd as well :P I know you got to play ol' Ivysaur the other night on PSN when I invited the both of you and he was slapping us around. What a meany. anyway... COMBO BREAKERRRR!!!!

ConvoltedStyLe Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 The other tager was my friend he doesnt have the game actually, he just plays along with me alot (its his x-mas gift but he doesnt know that) so if u want to play him your're gonna have to catch him when hes at my house.
