Good, easy character to deal with zoners as a sub-main?

I currently main Ragna since he's the most fun and natural character to me, but I tend to get screwed over by zoners a lot. So, I'm thinking of picking up someone who can more effectively deal with zoners as a sub-main. Any recommendations? Also, it would be nice if they aren't too hard to learn since they'd just be a sub, so I don't want to be too dedicated to learning the character.

Also, I would've just checked the thread that helps find a main, but there's like 50 pages.

Well, if you want an anti-zoner character, you probably need someone with decent mobility.

I'd say Bang is probably your most straightforward choice, but Hazama works too.

This a general advice thing:

You're better off trying to learn the match up than picking someone with a theoretical advantage... because it's only theoretical,

You won't be flooring a decent Nu/??? by JUST picking a high mobility character

Point is, play who you WANT to play not who you HAVE to play

(I fell out of BB after I heard they gutted Nu to bring back Lambda, so forgive me if the characters listed are now awful or information listed is obsolete/wrong... it's been awhile)

They didn't "gut Nu to bring back Lambda"; Nu is top tier in this game. o.o Or are you talking about next game? Because if it's next game, they gutted Nu because she was dumb.  :P

The rest of the advice is good except that you didn't actually list any characters, so I'm not sure what list you think might be out of date?

High mobility characters... Hazama, Tao, Valk, and I feel like I'm forgetting someone else but whatever. Pretty much anyone who can get in faster than it takes 5D to come out.

Azrael was also a hair annoying because of growler/phalanx, but that wasn't as bad...

But again, you're better off playing as who you want to play as and just learning the matchup.
