PozerWolf Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 last night I was just being scrubby since my enemy want to melee me all the time lawl..... and yea, I need to learn how to better punish landing. To be fair, melee isn't all that great but does not make it useless. I actually haven't ran into anyone who can't deal with melee yet, really. Even Kenneth will admit that, without using Turn A, he has issue with dealing with other Gundams' that force heavy melee pressure. All I gotta say is work on movement. Short hop (or whatever the term is called just for tapping C while flying) and side stepping are both really good tools in moving in the game.

CrimsonDisaster Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Melee is good if you are already good at Gundam and will get you wins against good players if used in the right spots. Melee is worse than useless if you aren't good at Gundam, it will actually have a negative effect on your ability to even beat other scrubs. Long story short, don't bother pushing B if it isn't AB or ABC.

Playing against CPU should somewhat teach you this seeing as how they always have a set path, while human opponents tend to have a more unpredictable set path (well, sort of). But every time I look over to see how Marcell is doing, he is mashing A and sometimes mashing B... WTF?!?!?!? Yes, we need to do this again!
