Hello, I am going to be in Dallas/Plano, TX during early Jan. I am thinking of coming to your arcade to play CS to get a feel if my schedule allows. I would like to ask some questions. 1. How crowded would the arcade be during Winter break? I would be making a same-day trip, so I'm trying to pick a low traffic time period. 2. Do you have an expert hakumen player that I may direct character specific questions to currently. 3. Is there parking around the area, or is the place located in a downtown type location. Thank you for your time.

I can't answer 1 but the regulars would probably still be there. The best Hakumen player would have to be Ikki but I've only seen him once since CS got to the arcade. He's also Japanese so since you know Japanese you might be able to converse with him if he's there. I also think Jeff (Crimson Disaster) is picking up Hakumen and he's almost always informed.

As for parking, make note that the right lot actually has more than 3. The real estate business there let the arcade customers park there at night since they're closed.

Please do not park in front of other businesses in the lot, as they need the spots for their customers and will tow if necessary. If you're unsure about where you parked, please ask an aUFO attendant!

We'll be missing a decent chunk of our crowd, but the core BB players live in Austin (and two of them work at UFO, and one of them owns UFO) so it won't be as craaaaaaazy as it can get during the school year but there will still be plenty of action.

Generally speaking, it doesn't get too packed till later into the evening, but during breaks we usually have a group of regulars chilling at UFO for most of the day. If you wanted to avoid the rush, I'd say aim to be at UFO between... 4-6pm or so?

The information is much appreciated. If I may I have character specific questions. -It appears regular 6C counter hit has significantly less hitstun. Is 6C counter (any level outside of max charge) > renka applicable still? -What does 5D scaling look like currently, and is anything linkable outside of 2B/renka. -Does gurren travel faster? It feels that way, but my eyes are probably playing tricks on me. -I've heard rumors that black color hakumen camouflage well in his own stage. Your opinion? -5B/5C/etc > enma >jC >jC>2C/j2A up to this point, corner of course. -tsubaki>2C>j2A>j2C>2C>j2A>slight delay j2A>dash>j2A>j2A to secure knockdown. Delays for the last set of J2A can be done anywhere as long height adjustment is complete over that segment of the combo. If this one works, then all the other combos of this variation should work. -any jC>gurren combo, do they combo into 6B for knockdown, or just 5C. Thank you for your time.

- Regular 6C CH feels really short, doesn't look like you get much off it anymore other than cancel to Shippu. I'll confirm later, though. - don't really use 5D much as 2D and jD followups are more consistent so far... but I can check on it? - black Hakumen would be harder to see on dark stages if he didn't have bright orange hair. - I'll check combos more tomorrow. - I only do 5C knockdown, 6B has an immediate tech knockdown and recovers kinda slowly.

Allow me to be more clear about black hakumen and his stage: Hair aside, the camouflage supposedly makes his movement ambiguous. So when he does things like zantetsu, it's apparently much harder to see. I want an opinion on this because when they said that, why couldn't you just recognize the activation seal when he does specials, which obviously isn't camouflaged. I can understand if they don't immediately recognize a 6C or something, but that was a bit confusing to me as to why it would ever make a difference. 5D is for offensive frame trapping. It's a good tool to have. Then in your opinion, do you think 5C knockdown is better for setting up oki? would you recover in time to 2B after 5C knockdown to prevent tech roll? I ask because currently hakumen sets up oki with 6B because you can prevent tech roll completely with option select. If 5C replaces 6B, then so be it, but 2B has to be able to prevent tech roll. Thanks. Edit: Does hakumen retain guard crush properties on hotaru, tsubaki, and shippu during mugen?

5C allows for 2B tech punish/relaunch if they lay there.
