Ooh! Ooh! Do Rachel! I mean, I'd do Rachel but I can't translate anything... Wait, that came out wrong...

You don't realize it, but subconsciously you have the desire to commit loliphilia and want to express it without making it look obvious..

It's the Freudian Excuse...

Anyway, I'll second that request (the surface meaning of the request, not the inner meaning:kitty:).. It would be awesome if you could translate Rachel's short story.

It was like someone painting a landscape of hell. With his eyes flaring bright, Ragna brandished his massive blade. An armagus erupted through the building in all directions. Swords rang out. Chaotic screams, shouting, and the agony of death. Making no distinction between men, women, or those trying to escape

:wtf: What, I always thought he was nice too D:.

Well, why else do you think he was considered a SS-Class criminal, bro? Edit: Looks like Soothe ninja-posted on me. Was talking to Akiro.

Cool story bro. Ragna is a badass. But that's old news really lol.

Fix'd. Sorry, I had to:keke: But seriously, the translation was pretty good. It's sometimes so easy to forget that Ragna can be such a merciless criminal, with how he acts in-game.

Lol I tried to avoid posting that originally. But yeah, the game makes it as if Ragna is a good guy and the library is just a corrupt government trying to make him look like the villain, though really he is as dangerous as they say. I wonder if Hakumen's story will go into detail about his battle against the black beast, the 6 heroes, or even the process of him becoming Hakumen.

So he can fire energy blasts? How does that work? Or am I being an idiot and reading things wrong? :/

I just figured it was a giant Dead Spike or something.

Also the NOL still is corrupt, and Ragna is still a good guy... you see Litchi comment on how he's nicer than he seems too. It just seems that he's crossed pretty much anyone who works for the NOL off as collateral damage.

I completely agree. :)

Its probably slow as shit and not really that usable in battle.

I personally still think he's a pretty good guy, but that still doesn't change the fact that he killed men, women, and children. :v:

I figured it was one of his other attacks too, but eh. It wouldn't surprise me if he had something that wasn't really useable in the game, it's not uncommon.

He killed children? Q_Q or are you kidding? :v:

I know he doesn't have a move like that in the game, I was just wondering if I read that right and he actually shot some sort of energy blast at them.

IIRC, one of Ragna's victory quotes against Carl in CT is something along the lines of "I don't like fighting kids, now go home!", so I don't think Ragna has killed any children, at least not intentionally.

Well they said that they try to get the younguns into the NOL so I wouldn't be surprised if Rangna's inadvertently killed some. He's not evil as he is fighting a corrupt organization. But of course I'm sure the lackeys of the NOL don't know the full truth so it's not particularly right to just mow them all down...

Ragna seems a bit more neutral to me now. I mean really, he's not fighting the GOOD FIGHT against the NOL so they can stop whoring everything or to save the world, he seems to be doing it more out of vengeance and for Saya. Though...ugh I forget, does Ragna know he's the black beast? Or does he just think that's the azure giving him power?

Posted

He sees his enemy as less than human. It makes sense, he's fighting a war. The NOL has to be destroyed, and if that means carving a path of violence into its core then so be it - he considers it justified. What he's doing isn't right to anyone but himself, though, even if we as onlookers can see all of the information and agree with his overall decision, if not his methods. And no, I don't think Ragna knows he's the Black Beast (as of Calamity Trigger), since he has to fuse with Nu to become it. I have no proof other than that logic, though.

So it'd seem Ragna's like the Punisher now. Fighting all the bad guys...using methods that are on par with the people he's fighting. In related matters, can't wait for Bang's story, I wanna hear more about Ikaruga!

He doesn't like to fight children, but it looks like he loves to kill them :toot:.
