In the corner, just don't to allegretto into 8D on the first rep if you're getting anima.

just do 5C[9] > 9j.B > j.C > 9D and nirvana will walk into place

Thanks, this worked for me. I even managed to pull it off in a match after little practice. My only concern is how much damage I'm missing out on. What I'm using now is...

...3C, 22]D[, 5C, JB, JC, 8]D[, J.2C, JC, 2]D[, J.2C, J.214C, 8]D[

You can do this for good dmg:

...3C, IAD, J.2C, Alle~can, J.2C. J.C, 2]D[, 5C, 421]D[, 5C, J.B, Allegreto, 8]D[, IAD, J.2C, J.B, 2]D[ Oki/tech Trap. Does not work on Arakune.

about the Allegreto, 8]D[ part. You can delay ALL DAY b/c of the massive tech time on allegreto. Ideally, you will delay long enough that your inputs will not overlap to get allegreto~anima.

Can someone label exactly how much meter nirvana uses plz.

Got any match vids you can post?

Are you IAD'ing into someone who AtA's you?

Are you trying to out range someone in the air who has longer moves than you?

Are you impatient and leaving yourself open (gambling with your health)?

Like forward dashing or IAD kara throw right onto a well timed haku 4c. Getting read constantly.

Are you able to react to airdashes/jump ins fast enough to AA it?

Are you content with pushing someone to the corner?

Are you spacing correctly (walking Nirvana+Carl into an ideal range) especially when the opponent is giving you the opportunity by being passive? This also includes using moves in its ideal ranges (i.e opting to use 5c over 5b because you cant gauge where the tip of 5b hits).

Do you have a good understanding of when you have the initative? What I mean by this is do you find yourself making moves when you should have been blocking.

More like if they not hittin me, they spaming jump

Nice, that's what it was! No more Anima, thx Kyle. On a side note, I landed a Volante combo in a match for the first time. Not only that, it was FTW as well!

Dude vs Haku..if you attemp to do a crossup with j.2c Alle~can try to delay a little bit more de j2c. Why? because if they mash D, it will fail and you will be able to land with the j2.c Alle~can.

Also, some times when you are performing ground combos and attemp to reset, stop comboing and let nirvana do 2]D[. If they smash D, they will eat 2]D[

I know that this isnt much.. but i hope that can help you.

Thanks, I'll try those out. I was also thinking of just doing 5B, normal jump cancel, they mash D, then CH JB or JC. Been meaning to try it out, but I always forget as 5B, IAD, J.2C is now engraved into my system.

Well, you probably should stick with delaying the IAD alle-can j.2c. That way you still get the sandwich.

For sure, but I also like to do a lot of stuff like...

CON....5B, Volante, 5A, 2A, 5B, 22]D[, IAD, J.2C

or

CON....5B, 6D, 6C, 5A, 2A, 5B, 22]D[, IAD, J.2C

Which in this case a normal jump would leave them in sandwich without 22]D[.

Im having troubles with Jin.. that motherfucker keep jumping at me and ´playing with runnaway tactics. I hate when he spam throw at me, i never was good vs throw stuff..

Any quick tips how to deal with Jin in the air? keep it on the ground...

idk, try to stay behind nee-san and get em with 8D or brio and go from there

Well, for 3D, you should probably mention that only the first hit is low.

Also, Cantata is NOT guaranteed to come out. Shit has made me facepalm on multiple occasions. It has a very brief startup before the gear actually appears. Since the move has zero invincibility, if you get hit during that time, it's sayonara to your 50 heat plus lolcombo. Basically, what'll happen is you'll see the flash and emblem for a moment and as you get sucker punched in the face you'll find that no gear appears to save your ass. I've learned not to really spam it too much. This doesn't necessarily always happen but you'd do well to know that it has and it can. All I'm saying is use it wisely (or maybe I'm just unlucky and/or dumb I dunno).

Oh, and make sure you mention Brio comes out even if you get hit (if memory serves, haven't played BB in a while).

Get's smacked in the face, super flash disappears....

Wou Zong congrat!! dude, neat matches! it was really fun watching you on the stream while i was eating my sanwich xD.

Just one random idea/sugerence, if you know that Tokido can block really well rhaposy stuff.. Maybe isnt too bad try to attemp a 6C full charge.

Impresive matches men = ).

Congrats Zong! He was very good at blocking the Rhapsody stuff which got me thinking.

Rhapsody reset, 9, kara glide backwards, vivace

This would make them change their direction on block 3 times relatively quick I think. Might have to try this out myself and see how it works.

So after 7 weeks of switching back and forth between Carl and Arakune, I finally decided to use Carl :yaaay:. I'm getting used to some of his combos and once I'm done with combos, I'll work on practicing his resets. I need someone to critique my Carl on XboxLive when I'm ready , but the only Carl I actually met is Kyle.

Oh one more thing congrats Zong.
