ZeroX1999 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I want to ask about bringing the TV and console. How long does the TV stay up? Because if I need to go I would want to take the TV back with me. I know that I will stay for the BB singles and GG singles and some casual games on the side.
Klaige Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 ok i will probably be around later for some casuals at the wingate. everyone who wants to play should just meet up in starks room. i wont be there till later but when I arrive I will bring a setup or 2 depending on the situation. for now you guys can play on the setup that stark has up there. Travis, im glad its working out ok so far. just go to the wingate. I dont know of any other casuals going on. STL and NE are coming later tonight at like midnight so they probably wont be playing tonight i will be at the venue at 10 am tomorrow to start setting up. during this time, we can certainly get casuals and money matches going. remember that tournaments start at 12 noon Also, I will be running teams for all games first and then singles after those finish ZeroX, its not too late. Main registration will happen tomorrow morning so just show up before noon Cool mike, i may stop out tonight not sure yet. Gonna hang out with the wife and relax since she's just gonna stay here tomorrow. I will plan on getting to wingate around 10am then. Just out of curiosity i google mapped the best way to get there from carol stream is to go up 355 to 290 west to 53 north and get off on palatine. Is that my best bet or is there an easier route that you know about?

ElvenShadow Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 Thanks to everyone who came out and made this a great success! special thanks to everyone who helped to run tournaments and do registration (Capps, Heartnana, Geronimo, MrMan, Keits, Syxx, floe) Thanks to everyone who brought equipment we had TONS of setups Thanks to everyone who came from out of state (Japan! FL, WA, MA, OH, KY, TN, MO, IN, MI, IA, etc) it was cool to see everyone again. I will be running this event again next year! I hope everyone comes again! After tournament Dennys was awsome, and we got some good hotel room casuals in. Thanks for the beers guys! ALso thanks to Jesse for having an awsome van staff was really helpfull this year aside from having that christian group in the other room but good thing they left at 2 and then we got even more space plus a drink bar also only power outage didnt interupt any tournament matches so thats fortunate as well I hope everyone had a good time. check the results thread for results. More results will be posted by other people soon

Also, I just want to know who was sick enough to put a Tager vs Carl in the first round of Singles. Did you all just chuckle and go "Lol, let's see how bad this turns out" when you made the brackets or just randomly draw names and go "Lol, let's see how bad this turns out" anyway.

That isn't the half of how retarded my bracket was First I get matched against a Tager, and win for free. Then I fight HeartNana, and he's the eventual winner, of course I can't match that. Then I get matched against a Tager, and win for free. Then I fight Meta, another Carl player, and I've never played against a Carl before so I was just confused the entire time. This basically told me nothing about my actual skill level. And you know what the worst part is? If I had won, I would have then fought you. Another Tager.

Anyway, my road wasn't too diverse either. W - Carl (Meta) W - Noel (Marco, the guy who beat Giovanni-Sama in the mirror) L - Noel (Alphakami ) W - Noel (Don't remember name, all I remember was him scrubbing out and complaining that Tager was broken. So busy complaining that he wasn't playing.) W - Carl (Meta...again) L - Bang (Ryan-Bill just walked up, slapped Tager's glasses off his face and dashed around in FRKZ till I found them, and then he proceeded to open up the second can of whoopass on me of the night.) 8-2 matchups 6-4 matchups 7-3 matchups Good shit Tager. You did well for me Saturday. Now you get a good rest before we go back to online play.
