Not exactly hard, but not an easy combo. Is anybody else having a problem with randomly going through Dizzy (like 1/4 of the time) after the 5P>jc, sjS(2)... I end up on the other side of her and I lose the corner advantage. Still a hot combo though.

On CH (depending on weight) I like to do 6H, 5H>iad jkx2, \/, 5H>sjH, sjD>sj2K, sjD or what not. On a normal hit I just try to go for a sjH loop or the traditional 5H>iad jD>j2K, sK, \/, whatever the fuck I want. Edit: Almost forgot on lights 5H>jc, air dash, jD>j2K, jK, \/, c.S>sjS(2 hits), sjD>sj2K, sjK, \/, 5H>iad jD is some hot shit. End with PB if it's going to kill them.

I've decided to get back into him after maining Sol for the last few games, but I've come to realize my old knowledge means jack squat at this point, and searching through 66 pages would take me longer to find them than master them. Metallo5 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Does anyone have some nasty Airdash K, K combos on sol? Or just nasty Sol killer combos in general. I'm starting to play again and I can't remember the type of combos that really hurt Sol outside of 2 Hit Super.
MacArthur Blunts Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 2 hit super is the way to go on sol. You can get the untechable type every time pretty much... Also, IAD K-K 5H doesn't work consistantly on Sol/HOS, you're better off doing standard SJAD->j.D->j.2K->j.K-relaunch.

Feeling I'm looking for. Sol has some good guts which is why I was trying to master IAD K, K on him but like you said its a miracle when you catch him at the right distance / height etc..... but theres nothing else on him?

MacArthur Blunts Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 sj.S combos will work on most everyone (barring the heavies) ... More specifically I use sj.S on MA, BR, JA, SO, IN, DI... Combo usually goes like this -> Say... CH 2H is a good example. CH 2H->5H->SJAD.D->j.2K->j.K->c.S->sj.S(2 or 3)->j.D->j.2K->j.K->c.S->j.S->j.K->dj.H->j.D That DEFINETLY works on MA Really any situation where you are re-launching with c.S and they are kinda high in the air. Guys we need to try to keep our j.2K use in combos as minimal as possible. It doesn't do lots of damage and it's -20 on their guard bar. It's the reason IAD KK, j.S loop and j.H->j.K loop do so much damage. EDIT for awesome - On some crouching characters (the big ones) f.S will link into 2S. Thus making... 6K->c.S->f.S->c.S->f.S->K Mappa RC->c.S->f.S->c.S->f.S->2S->2D THAT'S 9 SLASH BUTTONS!

MacArthur Blunts Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Guys these days it's all about... CH j.H, it's late (either), ect... Moral of story: Throw some tension in there and get 80% easy. On anyone. Near corner - CH It's late->5H->FB PB->5H has to hit REALLY low. get your timing down IAD j.H->5H... From there it depends on the character for your awesome combo and some characters (mainly the weird ones like ABA and Millia just anyone where you can't get that real low bounce and always sol and hos it won't work on. just 2hit those bitches) You can do SJ H->j.D->j.2K->j.K->5H->IAD K-K->5H->IAD D (sometimes can throw 2K D) that works on like Testament, Venom, Eddie, Ky... you know that type of weight. Lightweights you can get 2 reps of the SJ combo and end with 5H IAD D On pot, the combo is completely different. I usually don't throw FB piles vs pot cause really if you can block one dumb thing and punish with sweep RC or get a good CH you should be doing 5H->j.H->j.K->j.H->j.K->5H->repeat and get your knockdown. New FB pile loop I've been playing with... Like Ky, robo ky, anyone who gets hit but IAD K-K (includes baiken, millia, bridget, may, LOTS) Ok so you know the deal, any CH that launches, DOT, blah blah Sweep RC anything you know... 5H->FB pile->5H->IAD K-K->5H->FB pile->IAD K-K->5H->knockdown whatever Easily does 70-90%. I've done like 100% on robo ky with only a little guard bar built up. For real guys, If you can throw a FB pile in there, do it OH BTW vs pot I got ... little past midscreen... 2D RC->5H->FB pile important part!! you HAVE to get the FB pile to stick him as high on the wall as you can ->IAD j.H!!!!->5H->whatever knockdown combo amazing. IAD j.H after FB pile. Think it should work off most mid screen CH's as well. few more little notes... after really close in the corner CH pile you get IAD K-K 5H instead of just 5H works midscreen as well off CH j.H 5H IAD K-K is pretty much burst safe as well. I wanna make a combo video.

I was messing around with this combo on pot, and I decided to try a variation on eddie. It unfortunately requires CH FB Pile at a little past mid screen... which is somewhat impractical, but it always nice to have options. Anyways, CH FB Pile > IAD j.H (you can, and usually have to, do a quick dash jump to gain some momentum for the IAD), 5H, IAD [j.K x2] > 5H > FB Pile> 5H >j.D (I'm pretty sure that you can do 5H > IAD [j.K x2] again before the 5H > IAD j.D). I really need to mess with it more, but I only had like 20 min before work today. :8/:
