Romeyurhomey Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Good match but looks like the staff doesn't come back to you on block when you do ItsuuA on an opponent(4:45).
crazycrackers Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 None of the new Itsuu varients have the staff go back to you on block. They always go through with the follow up regardless of hit or block. ItsuuC in particular seems to give +f on block because of this. In the situation in the video, it looked like the follow up may have just missed for some reason, seemed to shoot out too far.
Lord Knight Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 Ever heard of "psychic DP's" .. no? here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBTwrZLPmS4 ok, Advice and Critiques please. how do you beat her drive without psychic DP? block and mash out dp? or is there a better way of punishing that leads to good damage? Luna is not a scrub .. Really? Didn't you test in training mode? :/ 2D is -30. Block 2D, 2A. If she does 4D, 2A will whiff. Don't worry about spring raid unless she has 50 meter. Block 5D, jump and block. 6A follow up, Litchi will air block - just keep blocking. 6B or 6D, they will both whiff (also after 6A).
Diveman Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r9CrB-n6mY&feature=sub watch 3rd Round. 4k combo after air throw. I think its Fio, but im not sure.

Fixed it. And why aren't you going for air throws already? :P
Diveman Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) ^^^^^^^^ THIS well Litchi should aim for throws, she has the throw glide and a kara throw so...why not. Also with her high pressure strings, its not hard to land throws more often than not Edited January 11, 2011 by Diveman
deadsnake Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) Fixed it. LOL. my mistake ;D And why aren't you going for air throws already? :P cause I always get rejected.... D= well...I do go for throws but mainly on land...=/ air throws...they j.a/b me faster than I can react on doing a throw... =___= ^^^^^^^^ THIS well Litchi should aim for throws, she has the throw glide and a kara throw so...why not. Also with her high pressure strings, its not hard to land throws more often than not I'm not capable of using the throw glide in a real match ^^ yet..... and a kara throw? *n00b Edited January 11, 2011 by deadsnake
Diveman Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 oh its easy, just do 6B then press C very quickly after. You're basically canceling her 6B animation into a throw, it gives the throw more range.
Nakkiel Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 cause I always get rejected.... D= well...I do go for throws but mainly on land...=/ air throws...they j.a/b me faster than I can react on doing a throw... =___= Sounds like you aren't sure WHEN to go for throws nor mask your attempts. Your air throws getting broken isn't that big of a deal against more than half the cast, if you have the staff just hit j.C afterwards and you're good to go. It gets much easier to land throws in general once you've scared your opponent with your other options. Practice practice practice!

I know how to do it since...CT or early CS? but I never knew it was called a kara throw LOL, and that throw is H4x Sounds like you aren't sure WHEN to go for throws nor mask your attempts. Practice practice practice! nobody's gonna get scared fightin me... all my BB buddies know my weakness... BAIT for the tsubame...orz... *air throw break and then j.c..got that....
Nakkiel Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Then start fighting without using Tsubame. Make a mental restriction on using the move until you no longer rely on it and then start applying it in smart situations. Also if your opponents are going out of their way to bait Tsubame, make a note of where and when they bait for it and instead of using Tsubame, grab them or use 2A to start your own pressure, or just don't take a risk at all and jump out with barrier, ready to break an air throw.
deadsnake Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 believe me, Imma supressin mah tsubames to the minimum... anyway, litchi BBCSII vids are kinda hard to find don't you guys think?
Diveman Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 She's one of the worst characters in CS2, its kinda obvious the lack of litchi videos
Lord Knight Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 More like Litchi was never a popular character. Even in CS1 it was tough to find vids.
Nakkiel Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Fio is really boring to watch for me so I don't even enjoy some of the CS2 vids.
deadsnake Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 maybe she's just not that easy to learn/play?
rinuskoe Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 the a-cho matches recently posted have some litchis in it, and they are pretty interesting to watch i think.
deadsnake Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 are they BBCSII? I can't really find any... are there any specific tag?
Jourdal Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 There's a lot of them on my channel and probably some on pktazns, idk about Fio being boring idk play Litchi enough or watch many litchis outside LK but Galileo's and Manakans were really fun to watch.
Lord Knight Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 LK RANKING: Chou = ultimate hype Shounen = alpha omega hype Galileo = staffless hype (cs1), bright ray of hope hype (cs2) Yume = mysterious hype ---4 jp litchi gods end--- Fio = zzz Manakan = classically entertaining H.H = Hilariously flowchart Blacky = Sayonara hype
Jourdal Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Some of those players i don't see too often...particularly chou and shounen, well afaik
Lord Knight Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 I've never seen Yume play Litchi, but he was listed as one of the top Litchi's I'll probably never see it ;_; Chou/Shounen get streamed more than recorded. I've also stayed up really late and entered the psr 220 over rooms, really entertaining to watch.
