I got a buddy of mine comin' from Jersey, now that I think about it.

Anyone got a spare seat?

:psyduck:

Wait, he's coming, but he needs a ride?

:psyduck:

How is he coming if he doesn't already have a ride?

Cbus, OH

GGAC, SSF4

Only pre-registration through the PowerUp website will be accepted. Thanks : )

Speaking of, pre-registration is now online and will run until May 24th. So you've got plenty of time to sign up and get your fees paid, but don't forget!

Initial prizes have also been added. More prizes will come based on pre-registration numbers for the games. The third and final PU2010 avatar design has also been added to the PU2010 Avatar Pack. I hope you enjoy it :keke:

Thanks for the support so far!

the teams price doesn't really make much sense. it should only cost me $5 since it's $15 per team, right? if everyone on a team preregged, a team would end up paying $45.

It's intended for only one person to sign up the entire team. So you'd collect the other $10 from your teammates before registering, and each of you would still only be paying $5.

This way it's easier to organize all the team information, and only one person on the team has to worry about registering. One person forgetting to register won't cause errors come tournament time.

Might want to make it clear on the page before people over register and you'll have to start refunding people.

There are instructions within each team tourney description, but I'll add a reminder onto the big top paragraph.

EDIT: Okay, so the list of products is now properly organized with venue passes on top, then singles, then team tournaments.

I've also added clarification for signing up for team tournaments, and general reminders to purchase your venue pass. Hopefully this makes everything simpler to navigate and easier to understand.

Thanks! So who here wants this to be BB:CS instead of BB:CT? Calling out for some help from the Dustloop BB community. If you're planning on coming to Powerup2010 please let me know if you know how we can make this BB tournament BB:CS instead of BB:CT.

I'm with Matthias on this one. I'd love for PU2010 to run CS rather than CT so we can get more people interested and potentially give BB a proper prize. We would need at least 4 BB:CS setups and the support of the BB players. Make it happen!

I wouldn't say we'd NEED 4... but if we want it run in 1 days time and to have a team tourney... ya. If we had 1 setup, it'd take 7-8 hours with 16 players double elimination 2/3. So to cut time if we had 'too few' setups, we could make it single elim 2/3 and run it on multiple days. (even though I know you're trying to run a game a day... I don't think anyone attending would mind that much). I'm in a "take what we can get" mood with this subject so if anyone has a suggestion information contact me or Osirun so we can get this rolling.

GG players, PLEASE get your sticks fixed by the time this happens. If we only have like 2-3 ranging from barely usable to good, it won't matter how many setups we have. Thank you.

Kind of a selfish request but...

My sister is getting married on the 29th. I can't miss it. That is when singles for GG are happening which is one of two tournies i was planning on entering (teams for GG being the other)

If you guys could make singles happen either on sunday or friday (after teams?) I'd be like, super duper appreciative.

If it will be too difficult to swing it, don't worry about it.

but. PLEASE?!

@Mac: Matt needed me to make GGAC on Saturday for his schedule, and he's running the brackets. So I can only change the day if Matt is still available on Sunday. Friday needs to stay teams day so we can test things and get everything set up early without worrying about an actual main tournament to run.

Maybe somebody else can run singles on Sunday? I know Mac not being there is going to make a big difference in how the tournament goes. I know I can't be there Sunday, but if you're alright with letting somebody else take care of singles, I don't mind. Maybe we should let Eric and some others give their 2 cents.

Really guys if you can't swing it don't worry about it. I didn't know Matt's schedule was at question as well.

sigh. stupid girls and their weddings and my ass having to walk them down the aisle.

Unfortunately it's just impossible sometimes to get everyone's schedule lined up. Stuff happens. Anyway, I'm good with keeping it on Saturday and having Matt run the brackets.

If others would prefer something else, like Matt said, give your opinions : )
