I'm bringing a Brawl setup for casuals or "candy" matches only but it will be a BYOC thing since I only have one...If I could find my copy of Melee I would bring that too. I'm also bringing water and MAYBE something to throw onto the bbq. Oh and in case Rod didn't notice I posted it earlier, I'll bring some Ginger Ale or 7Up just in case his stomach tries to kill him again. I'll also bring a PSP with FF Tactics and Dissidia for shits and giggles.

And that Shaq-Fu side tourney better be going on!

1 PS2

1 XBOX if necessary/requested (LOL OVERTURE COMBOS??? More like SENKO NO BRIDGET)

1 GGAC+ JP (don't pick robo ky on my tv??)

1 3rd Strike JP lol I hope you can read the names of the supers in Japanese

1 POWER SUPPLY I WONT FORGET THIS TIME

Danny's Jacket

AJ's forgotten cables?

I've decided to stop bringing my monitor on account of it being a lost cause (only somewhat lag free with PS3, everything else has at least 1-2 frames of lag that make people frown)(and no one plays Tekken 6 anyway).

I'll bring the following:

1 PS2 - Flip top modded for JP games

1 PS3 - Just in case people wanna play Blazgreen and Tekken 6....or Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo Championship Excel Vegeta Combo HD Rehash

1 Wii - Softmodded for JP games. Probably not gonna be used, but there's Brawl+ I guess, mostly bringing it for Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary edition...and maybe 4 player Tetris Attack or MUTHAFUCKING DR MARIO.

PS2:

Guilty Gear AC+

Melty Blood AA

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection

Arcana Heart (get hype)

Mushihime-sama

PS3:

Tekken 6

Blazblue CT

Super Puzzle Fighter 2 HD

Battle Fantasia

Wii:

SSBB+ (current codeset)

Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary edition (It's a puzzle game, somebody will/should play it, cause it's way fucking better than Puzzle Fighter)

Nintendo Puzzle Collection

(I don't own TvC)

Also, 1 surge protector and 1 scrawny midget that plays Venom. I told him to prereg so it should be good.

So I talked to Derrick and expressed interest in adding T6 to the ranbat. I thought the scene was well-established in NorCal, but he begs to differ. Assuming we get a larger venue, would any of you be opposed to the idea?

Brawl+ I have not tried yet since I do not have the computer know how to hack my Wii for that stuff. I'd sure as hell like try it. I'll bring my copy of TvC for casuals too.

As for Tekken 6...While I do not oppose the idea, I don't play it cause I just don't like it. But hell if its hype enough, add that shit in!

Hey it seems that we're only going to have table space for 5~6 TVs. If anyone could bring a table, it would be greatly appreciated. Our benefactor is already bringing an extra table but it's expensive to rent a truck to bring more. Also we could still use a couple of extension cords.

Posted

So like, since there's a BBQ as well, should we contribute with some food? How is everything going to work? I don't mind donating some stuffs.

Posted
we'll have burgers courtesy of our benefactor but you are free to bring whatever you like!

i suggest stuff thats easy to cook ie burgers or hot dogs...

I dunno what the drink situation is honestly :D

Update on extension cords: it seems like Tsubasa has one and he might be our savior and go grab a couple from Home Depot... if we're short then I'll try to secure them myself.

On another note, I need to get to Hayward at 9am on Saturday to help set up and move stuff to make space... but I don't have a car and the Dumbarton Express doesn't run on weekends. Anyone want to go really early and grab me?! Otherwise I think I'll go spend the night in SF/SJ and take the BART myself early in the morning.

Posted

I'd love to help you out but unfortunately I have a car full of people scheduled already. I'll be bringing an extension cord and see if we still need one. I might be bringing my laggy monitor as well :(.

Posted

Sorry I can't give a ride but I am going to bring water for people and maybe something for the bbq depending on what catches my eye.

Posted

on the bbq just bring whatever you want. i suggest stuff thats easy to cook (burgers, hot dogs) or stuff like chips. it would help a lot if people pitch in with food and drinks.

I'm planning on going to this tomorrow. I have three spots in my car open if anyone needs a ride. I'm coming from MH so that means I can grab people pretty much anywhere in the south bay that needs a ride. Also I'll be bringing my ps2 (its been zanuff'd >.>) and monitor, but since my car is lacking a trunk if you sit in the car your most likely holding a box :D I'm excited cause this is my first day off that I can actually make it to the ranbat with my shitty robo-ky and Johnny, but yeah... if you need a ride or something just tell me on aim, I'm usually trolling around somewhere with it on. @Dakanya: Honestly i dont think its a tournament viable tv... i figured for casuals for NGBC :3. If i had to guess i would say 3-5 frames of lag when hooked with rgb cord. I have a lagless computer monitor but dont have the hookups for ps2 to monitor.

Edit: Also I can't access the site to prereg :gonk:

Thanks Dakanya, See everyone tomorrow. I'll def be bringing my setup, but if you guys have a no lag tv without a system I can loan it for a tourney. I have both GGAC and MBAA for it.

I'm still crunching work as I write this post, so I'm - more than likely - not going to be able to make it on time...or at all.
