Lots and lots of Raven in here from the GodsGarden guys. They also have some other hella long vids on the channel that probably has some Raven play. Starts out pretty basic but seems like it gets better later.

Matoi vs Ragna: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCmdx26tIpY&feature=youtu.be&t=3335 Not sure offhand who the Ragna is, but this match is pretty late into an A-cho tourney with people like NO and Eesuke.

What looks like a combo listing from one of the guys who did the early bbcf koko combo vids. http://ch.nicovideo.jp/manabuzyu/blomaga/ar568123 Googl translate sadly squishes everything together so you kind of have to translate things by paragraph.

Mmm, much better than his first vids. Lots of useful stuff in here and I'm definitely gonna have to play around with that j.6c>j.2b route.

Since so many people in the thread seem to be new to ASW loketests, they tend to have a bunch of batshit insane loketests and then suddenly the final version comes out and it is relatively fine. So I wouldn't worry too much.

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion
STenSatsu replied to Shinjin's topic in Guilty Gear General
The community was obscenely underground back in X and it was essentially non-competitive outside of some Otakon tournaments where you'd see somebody Jam FCD people to death. Thus there was much less worry about balance and more excitement about HOLY SHIT COOL STUFF! I wonder if Tragic has backups of any GCC posts around the time XX was coming out lol. -
Jesus that video was godlike. Some actually useful stuff in there too. 5c>OD for 7k was really nice.

Really hope for 1080/60 on ps4 and like 720/60 with less effects on ps3. Other than that, great news with the crossplay. -

Ultra SF4 comes out in August so there isn't exactly much competition on the fighting game front in fall. I doubt it would be picked up by many people who wouldn't already be grabbing it if it came out in q1 2015 honestly. Better to get it to the fans that have been waiting for it quicker imo. -
Does Iwao still play much? He was easily my favorite Amane to watch for a long time. Editing with some vids: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GquZ2y50Ykg Lots of an 11dan Amane. Mainly vs Kagura. He really calls out neutral techs a ton with hariken into 6d.

Since it's all being hosted at Acho it should show up on their tourney channel on youtube: A-cho Battle Movie

That was a bug? Even in 1.0 I thought you could do that for like 5k or something at 100% life.

To be fair, he was never a popular character to begin with. Only Jiro, Shima, and Alchemia ever seemed to show up, and they usually seem get taken out asap by any above average player on a strong character.

SMITE style third person GG MOBA where we can do combos with the fighting system from Overture?! Would be kind of hilarious. -

For both story and gameplay reasons I'm going to say they pull characters from Testament/Bridget/Zappa/Dizzy first. -
There are a few recently from there of +R, but it does seem to be new since I can't remember hearing much about it until those +R vids.

Eh, they got a pretty good character selection at the start. Lots of bases covered and most of the playstyles are there. A lot of the missing characters have overlapping gameplans with currently playable imo, which is good. Plus, most of the characters are the ones with interesting movesets. -
Gotta keep an eye out for Meiji Monte Carlo arcade vids. Both Kedako and FT list that place as their game center of choice on the player guild thing.

To be fair, they were one of the best things about GG. However, I think that YRCs maintain most of the creative uses that FRCs really brought to light, while not smothering offensive 50% meter options out like FRCs did. -

Almost always happens at the beginning of a new game. People still getting used to the new systems for combos and creating openings. Even Marvel went through the same thing. -

Likely anyone. Health and guts values seem extremely homogenous among the cast. Pot can still do a ton of damage, but now everyone does the same damage so it means less. -

At worst it would become meter chicken with YRCed normals. Though I do wonder how it interacts with safe jump setups since you technically hit them. -

Another thing on the 6c2>6a route is you can sj straight up into j.b if they are high up. Though it can be pretty hard to confirm whether you need superjump or normal jump on the fly. Usually normal jump should always be fine if you are doing it after 2 reps of 5c>6c routes.
