Yo Circ, I was wondering what programs you used to extract the sprites. I been looking for different ways to extract BB:CT files and haven't gotten any luck (more specifically the lifebars and other miscs). So I was wondering what you used to extract them. I have the PC version of CT.

Just use the HUD pack on the first page. It's got all the CT lifebars and stuff ripped already.

I'd be more helpful but I don't know what file format the PC version uses. Besides, why duplicate the effort?

I already had downloaded the "Match HUD and Stage Intro Text" pack but only the CS lifebars come inside it. Unless that's not the correct link you're talking about.

Which pack would have the small chibi icons in Calamity Trigger when a character goes off screen in a match? I've always been curious about these icons and was wondering if they were ripped, I know that in CS they just use stock art but CT had a smaller cuter style used.

Oh. Well use the CS ones. (Seriously I don't know how to rip PC stuff.)

Never found those, so I never ripped them. Sorry.

As far as I'm aware those were ripped via screenshots, I think Kurushii might know where...

I took screenshots of them ages ago when I was thinking of possibly converting them to balls on the forums. I don't have them anymore. I can rip it again and it'll be much cleaner since I have better hardware than back then. (or if my BBCT PC would work I can get it clear as hell)

It's not like it has to be moving at full-speed or anything.

Why would photoshop need to be up? Just fraps the screenshots. :V

B-B-B-BUT! COMPRESSIIOOOOOOOONNNNN!

What Circ said and my laptop only has a dual core @ 1.6 gz. I can't run fraps.:v:

Anyways, I somehow managed to take screens and paste em in a paint.net file.

I already riped a couple of parts, not very good I think and I remade a couple of things from scratch.:gonk:

I'll upload the psd file tomorrow. Here's what I have so far:

(there is 50% opacity in the red/blue bar things :psyduck:)

Yay! finally the platinum sprites, thaks!

^^;; Excuse me if I'm unbelievably blind, but are there any Platinum sprite packages on the first page? If so, under which download may I find them?

[EDIT]

Ah, found them on page 146. But why not have them on the first page?

Not using Fraps, i don't even have the thing installed. But I ran CT along side with Photoshop, impressively, it didn't slow down my computer as much as I thought it would. And why would I use Fraps when I have the Print Screen button? :V

Anyways, here's all I managed to get out of those lifebars. I have to say, it'll be very, if not impossible, to recreate/rip all those layers in the lifebars. :gonk:

Here's what I have (I don't mind if you post these on the front page, someone might be looking for them :V)

Slightly remade version with all of those parts:

Um... cause by default Printscreen can only capture one shot at a time. You'd have to stop and export the capture to Photoshop every time. If you used fraps you can just mash the button set to take screenshots and not have to slow your capturing down.

Hello again. I've been meaning to say this for some time (since February, actually :D), but I tried this in GIMP, and recoloring Lambda's Astral sprites (the close-up ones, actually) with any one of the Nu palettes...

...Well, I don't know how to describe it right now properly, but if you use a Nu palette, the colors are sort of mixed up, like the black outline is pink. I don't know if this is only in GIMP, though.

Must be a error in GIMP. Works perfect for me in Photoshop.

Is that so? Well then, is there a way to fix this? Or other solutions?

EDIT: Ok, outline's fixed. Just... not the other messed up colors. Should I mention that I'm horribly desperate for the correct colors or not?
