Burning Cocytus Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hey guys, I'm seeing some pretty awesome animations on this topic, and I was wondering what program you all use? For example, I've used Flash Mx - CS5 for a number of years now, and I've always had issues getting the right quality out of any .gifs I create. Any advice? Oh and awesome job on the sprite rips! Thanks in advance!
mewmaster93 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) Haven't seen this anywhere, so I thought I would submit a png copy of Platinum's emblem if anyone needs it. Edited February 1, 2011 by mewmaster93
sesame Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 that low res and pixel lines everywhere........ (i'm sorry that emblem's quality's just bad to me : <) but effort for posting ;w;~
mewmaster93 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Yeah, on second thought this was a horrible idea. Didn't even notice the HORRIBLE quality until after I posted it.

Thanks in advance! I use a combination of Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Painter and Autodest Sketchbook. For high resolution gifs I would recommend using photoshop.
Spectaor117 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Is there a download for BBCT Artwork Ending?

Shizuo Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Okay, this has been pissing me off for the longest time. I know all the other characters' reference colors, but Hakumen's is the only one I don't know. Help me out and feel free to point out anything else you may think is incorrect. Ragna = Gintoki Sakata (Gintama) Jin = Ky Kiske (Guilty Gear) Noel = Seras Victoria (Hellsing) Rachel = Miku Hatsune (Vocaloid) Taokaka = Pikachu/Raichu (Pokemon) Carl = Detective Conan (Case Closed) Litchi = Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers) Arakune = Japanese Flag Tager = GaoGaiGar (The King of Braves GaoGaiGar) Bang = Strider Hiryu (Strider) A-11 = Gundam (Gundam) Hakumen = possibly the Eva Series (Evangelion) http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/6830/96116474.jpg Hazama = Joker (Batman) Tsubaki = Luka Megurine (Vocaloid) Mu-12 = Unit 00 (Evangelion) Makoto = Yoko Littner (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) Valkenhayn = Gallon (Darkstalkers) Platinum = lot of different magical girls
RyuRobin Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Does anyone have a list of crossover/reference costumes besides the GG ones? (I'm pretty sure there are anime ones, aswell).. sorry, if they have already been posted but I admit I'm too lazy to browse through 141 pages.
zeth07 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Does anyone have a list of crossover/reference costumes besides the GG ones? (I'm pretty sure there are anime ones, aswell).. sorry, if they have already been posted but I admit I'm too lazy to browse through 141 pages. I'll probably get a few wrong but from what I remember/what I've read: Ragna = Gintoki from Gintama Jin = Ky from GG (now), I don't remember what it was before.... Noel = Seras from Hellsing Rachel = Hatsune Miku, who is a vocaloid. Nu/Lambda = Gundam RX-78-2 Arakune = possibly the Japanese flag or something from Neon Genesis Evangelion, I can't remember. Carl = Detective Conan Bang = Strider Hakumen = I honestly don't know, something from Neon Genesis Evangelion?? Tager = GaoGaiGar Litchi = Morrigan from Darkstalkers Taokaka = I say Jubei but who knows. Tsubaki = Megurine Luka, vocaloid Hazama = Joker Mu = EVA Unit 00? Valkenhayn = Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers Makoto = Yoko from Gurren Lagann
WolfCrimson Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Taokaka = I say Jubei but who knows. Tao's reference is most definitely Jubei, the colour of her tail and ear flaps of her coat confirm that. Edited February 4, 2011 by WolfCrimson
Blade Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 For References: Ragna has colors for Jintoki, Crono from Chrono Trigger, and Sol Badguy Jin has colors for Ky, Robo-Ky, and two other characters from Code Geass. Noel has colors for Seras Victoria, I-no, and possibly Nu. She shares a few colors with Mu-12 as well. Rachel has colors for Miku Hatsune, various characters from Rozen Maiden, and Slayer. Taokaka has colors for Pikachu and May. Carl has colors for Case Closed, Tuxedo Kamen (Sailor Moon), and A.B.A+Paracelsus Litchi has colors for Morrigan, Lilith, and Jam Kuradoberi Arakune has various colors based on Ice Cream, Drinks, and Shakes, the reference color is a Bomb Pop, he has Zato-1's color (Eddie). Tager has colors based on The Hulk, Genesic GaoGaiGar, Potemkin, and possibly other giant robots (King J-Der?) Bang has colors for Strider Hiryu and Strider Hien, and a color for Anji Mito and Chipp Zanuff. Lamda-11/Nu-13 have colors for Eva Series, Hi-Nu Gundam, a Macross Unit, Zone of Enders Orbital Frames, and Justice. Hakumen has colors for Zero (Code Geass), Megaman Zero (MMZ), Batman, Tekkaman (various), and Baiken. Hazama has colors for the Joker, Dick Tracy, Michael Jackson (various), and Venom. Tsubaki has colors for Luka Megurine, Millia Rage, and possibly Lenneth Valkyrie. Mu-12 has colors shared with Noel, but also has a color for Dizzy, certain Eva Units, and certain units from Xenogears. Makoto has colors for Yoko, Order-Sol, and possibly characters from Tenchi Muyo. Valkenhayn has colors for Slayer, Jon Talbain (Gallon), Gannon (Legend of Zelda), and a younger color palette based on his appearance in Phase Zero. Platinum's key colors come from Lyrical Nanoha and the various series that follow it, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Sailor Moon. Most likely she'll get Faust's color set, or possibly May or Bridget.
Irikarul Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Valkenhayn has colors for Slayer, Jon Talbain (Gallon), Gannon (Legend of Zelda), and a younger color palette based on his appearance in Phase Zero. Must...resist...Gannon-Banned meme... Anyway, thanks for the list. I don't remember Ragna having a Crono color, Carl having Tuxedo Mask, or Valk having Ganon colors. Any pics to prove it?
Murki Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 For References: Noel has colors for Seras Victoria, I-no, and possibly Nu. She shares a few colors with Mu-12 as well. Mu-12 has colors shared with Noel, but also has a color for Dizzy, certain Eva Units, and certain units from Xenogears. Pretty sure Noel has no "Nu" color, but aside from the colors everyone else has, what colors do Noel and Mu have? Having a hard time thinking of them.
Blade Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Noel's White Outfit+Black Hair set matches ones of Mu's colors. Noel's Nu colors were in her CT palette. D: Ganon Typo. I haven't played Zelda in ages.... Edited February 4, 2011 by Blade
Murki Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Noel's White Outfit+Black Hair set matches ones of Mu's colors. Noel's Nu colors were in her CT palette. Well I still can't see a Nu color in Noel, but I can see where you're coming from with the Noel and Mu thing. But in really only shares similar colors from what I can tell, Mu's has darker hair, darker skin, and more of a gray-tinted white rather than a purple-ish tinted white, and she has blue eyes instead of purple.
Kuuhaku Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Hakumen = I honestly don't know, something from Neon Genesis Evangelion?? That Hakumen color I'm 90% sure is a reference to Sachiel from Evangelion. The idea for the blue hair probably came from the XX figurine for Sachiel. The design for how Hakumen's face is colored is probably after the gill-like things that appear after Sachiel is nuked by the N-2 mines.
betaphysics101 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) hakumen is best described as semi-unique. what is not unique is the combination of a cyborg and a swordsman. what's unique is that he is(since this game has a story and literature) BRITISH. i was able to make this image transparent. link: http://hazamajackson.deviantart.com/art/mu-12-197824947 i have made hazama from cs transparent too me about 1 day. this may need a second opinion. link:http://hazamajackson.deviantart.com/#/d39s4fc Edited February 18, 2011 by Circuitous
Murki Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 That Mu one is pretty good, granted I don't know what it looked like to begin with... Makes me want Mu's other story mode portraits. Where'd you find that image though? Just curious if they had any others or.

pktazn Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 link: http://hazamajackson.deviantart.com/art/mu-12-197824947 I don't mean to sound like an ass when I say this but Mu's eyes are supposed to be blue unless that's how you got it. That's more like Noel in Mu's clothes at the True End. Other than that yay for making the background transparent. :3
