just want to tell you in the psx version i say psx not ps2,there's an sp story mode,full of minigames,i personally play it a lot as for combos just look into youtube and you'll see most chars got 80 hit combos nice voice actors for that game i wish they make a new one with more chars and more voices...Etc

There is no Jojo's fighting game on PS2, the PS2 games are entirely different. D: but I would also like to say that Ougon no Kaze was neat, and I enjoyed playing it.

Is that the one based on part five? or the Phantom Blood one released for the movie? I got mine a couple days ago, but haven't been able to sit down and play it yet. Watched just about all of the match vids in gutuv's(?)(basic combo guy) profile. Wondering if there were links to any more. Planning on playing Kakyoin and Hol Horse. Maybe Iggy as well

Phantom Blood, well, I didn't finish it but it was ok. Got REALLY repetitive and I actually had to go re-read part 1 to get through what I did (I was SO CLOSE to finishing it, haha), but it was ok. Ougon no Kaze is the Part 5 game. It is great. It helps to have a guide to the bonus points, though, even after re-reading the manga some of them were a little obscure. I did finish this one, but I didn't do the bonus stuff at all.

Holy crap, Jojo's players too!? Wow, this place is amazing. Heck, believe it or not, i'm going to be hated for this but i bought the game psx (brand new, we're talking factory sealed) from this shop in Las Angeles near the garment district for about 15 or 20 bucks. Have to say, it was one of the best purchases for a game i've ever made in my entire life. I had no idea the game cost so much either. Now i'm thinking about going back and buying multiple copies and selling em on ebay for like forty bucks or something. EDIT: I play Polnareff, Dio, Jotaro, Kakyoin, Jojo, and Joseph (Oh yeah ~_^ old man action!)

English arcade version and USA DC version (I think, I don't remember if I unlocked him) call what we call "Young Joseph" "JoJo." also no, having the psx version is pretty awesome because honestly even if it's the worst version of the game, super story mode is awesome. That and it's a collectible.

Yeah, i heard the arcade/dc played way faster than the current one i got. It also happened to have much more combos that you could do than the psx. Although you say they lack a super story mode in dc? That's a pew pew.....

There were several Jojo titles. They covered numerous arcs before and after the Jotaro Kujo one.

None of them are fighting games. They're both more action games than anything. Ougon no Kaze is a 1-on-1 action game kind of thing most of the time, recreating the manga's fights. Phantom Blood is a brawler, more or less, also recreating the fights but throwing random stuff in to pad it out at times.

GioGio's Bizarre Adventure: Ougon no Kaze was based on Part 5 and was pretty good for what it was. I enjoyed it. Worth checking out if you're a fan, maybe even if you're not, but the japanese makes it a little tough to tell how to fight and win sometimes (reading the manga helped tremendously).

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood was based on JONATHAN Joestar's arc (the first part of the manga) and was alright. Not the best game, IMO the weakest part of the manga, but it was fun to play. I guess my main complaint would be that it's like if Melty Blood had no limit on how many times you could reverse beat back to 2A or something and every single attack you had could be reverse beated back to 2A. Or, more fitting for Dustloop, if you could RC every hit back to the first hit. And not only that, doing the RC/Reverse Beat gets you a stat bonus and you do a neat pose that freezes everything while you pose.

The only other JoJo's game is an SNES RPG based on part 3 (same as the fighting game).

The ruling on Petshop from what I've been told multiple times is that he's softbanned. Man, two posts today about Petshop, which makes me happy since that's two posts about this game. So I learned how to do combos into/out of stand rush the other day. My dio is now about 1.364x better. I say this as though I had anyone to play. JJBA for GGPO since we have 3S now plzkthx ponder?

Edit: I forgot to note that the vid was showcasing his unblockables. The Ice Stalactite is a high hit.

Hmmmm. Unblockables, high low mix-up, Push back doesnt do shit, can fly&low crouch hitbox(so when its in standing position low attacks miss and when in crouching position high attacks miss),Great damage potential,Great chip damage, fast, any playstyle will work with petshop(run away with projectile spam until opponent messes up or rushdown till death do ye part) and i think thats it. I love this game.

there's that one sick combo/matchvid with all chars, which has a pet shop section. the imperial march plays during his combos. you will understand when you see it.
