IronTager Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 *Sits down* What exactly is it that I must be informed of? I'm guessing that this came before Wartech. Yes?
IronTager Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Oooh, this is a sequel? Huh... Damn, I feel dumb now XD Well, thanks for the information. Still, Wartech was pretty fun... This sequel should be a blast.
orka Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 10 MORE DAYS!!! Meanwhile, we can all continue playing SSF4 to pass the time. I will add more info to the initial post in the upcoming days regarding system changes and new features. this is getting closer to console release.... any news if this will be region free? There's just no info out there. I will test it on my friend's American 360 ASAP when I get the game.
orka Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 A WEEEK TO GO, PEOPLE!! Order the game if you plan to play it. I updated the Amiami links on the first post (since the URL for the site changed). Also, regular edition and regular edition + teleca are now sold out on the site.
orka Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 The special edition without teleca is sold out on Amiami now. You can still pre-order the special edition with the sweet ass Shinobu/Philomena teleca (which is what I'm getting).

LOL when you said sweet ass I really was expecting to see some sweet ass in the link :p
orka Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 OK, make that sweet bubz. Also, wanna play Rev.X sometime? I'm starting to get wary of SSF4 already.
4r5 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 FAQ Q: Will the DUO console port work on Xbox 360 in regions other than NTSC-J? A: It's yet to be determined. We will see once the game is out. i'll check back in a week
Honnou Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 I'm pretty awful at this game but I am down for sessions. Might have the sequel streamed at my next biweekly. gt: ChemicalLovd location: San Francisco, CA character: Karel, Mika, Lili

Just to let you know, though, Lili is only available as a partner unit in this game and Karel is gone altogether... but there is Luca, who is pretty much a better Karel in terms of how he plays.
AlterGenesis Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Does not appear to be region-free. Too bad, guys. =(
Shelcoof Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I'm hoping some one comes out with a FAQ soon on the menu. Difficult time navigating through.....
orka Posted May 22, 2010 Author Posted May 22, 2010 My 360 stick broke at just the perfect timing. Seems like I will need to use pad for the time being. :/
orka Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 I noticed that you can't dash cancel in DUO (unless my timing is off for whatever reason). You can augment your dash with another dash, but you can't seem to do another one after that. Also, Commander Style is kind of weird but fun its own way. I ordered a HRAP EX SE so hopefully I will get it soon... I hate playing this game on pad, and Deathsmiles 2X is coming out soon too.
Keo-bas Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 So how is the Sound track for this game? Wartech senko no ronde's was a mater peice to me so I'm hoping for nothing less.
orka Posted May 26, 2010 Author Posted May 26, 2010 DUO's OST is really good. Definitely worth a purchase, IMO. I really like Changpo's theme, Shinobu's theme and Ursure's theme.

Shelcoof Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Tsubasa: really appreciate the translation thanks. I have another question regarding button mapping. I'm using a modded SFIV Stick. I map it like this. _[M][C] [A][_][_] Now in Arcade mode I can go into BOSS mode by pushing A+M+S. On Live it doesn't work. When I push M+S in Arcade mode I do some sort of twisting attack. But on Live while playing my partner comes out instead. I'm not exactly sure why this happens. Does it happen to anyone else?
Sarsapari Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 It's a currently unresolved bug that G Rev already blogged about where if you change button config from default, combination inputs no longer work, because it doesn't recognize non controller face buttons in the inputs.
