Diveman Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 You mean the opponent is teching between ItsuuA (hit1) and ItsuuA (hit2)? Strange, but this may be a side effect of you doing something earlier that isn't specific to the string. Things like putting 2A/5A into the string before WILL affect the proration of the combo. Some things you can do with a 5B opener you cannot do with a 2A 5B of the same thing. Either that, or you're trying to do one too many ItsuuA loops in whatever combo you're doing. Can you put down what you're trying to do specifically? nvm, I solved it, I was doing 6C(1hit) after the ippatsu A, j.7d, falling C. it seems that if u use 6C (1hit) there, you cant do the full itsuu loop for whatever reason. so now im using 2C and it works fine. and no, my starter usually was 5B or 2C[m]
EkusuKariba Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Okay, I know this is complete scrubbery right now, but is the combo in the OP the full loop, or is there more that can be added on or whatever? 5B[m] 2C[m] itsuuA 6kote haku hatsu riichiA ippatsuA j7D falling jC staff2 2C[m]/6B[m]/6C(1) itsuuA 6Kote 5C 2D rising jC staff2 2C[m] itsuuA 4kote 3C 2D 6C(2) staff2 6C(2) 6D[m] itsuuC 6C(2) 6Kote I think is would be the part your looking for.
evilragnarok Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Nevermind, figured it out. I've been inputting ItsuuA too early, making my ippatsuA crossup. Delaying the itsuuA has helped.

Evilragnarok, you can also try delaying Hatsu after Haku when going for IppatsuA, it allows the opponent to float farther forward preventing them crossing you up.
Spud Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 5B[m] 2C[m] itsuuA 6kote haku hatsu riichiA ippatsuA j7D falling jC staff2 2C[m]/6B[m]/6C(1) itsuuA 6Kote 5C 2D rising jC staff2 2C[m] itsuuA 4kote 3C 2D 6C(2) staff2 6C(2) 6D[m] itsuuC 6C(2) 6Kote I think is would be the part your looking for. Right, thanks. I can be so bright sometimes.
Atreides Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 5B[m] 2C[m] itsuuA 6kote haku hatsu riichiA ippatsuA j7D falling jC staff2 2C[m]/6B[m]/6C(1) itsuuA 6Kote 5C 2D rising jC staff2 2C[m] itsuuA 4kote 3C 2D 6C(2) staff2 6C(2) 6D[m] itsuuC 6C(2) 6Kote For the 3rd ItsuuA, they always seem to recover no matter what starter I use. For the ending 6C, is there timing involve, or just hitting 6C as soon as itsuuC 2nd hit lands, because the second hit of 6C isn't hitting.

On the third ItsuuA, can you see the staff in her hand when the 2C comes out?
Nakkiel Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 IIRC you can only do 3 ItsuuAs in a combo if you start it off of 2C[m]. After ItsuuC you need to do 6C as early as possible, no specific timing is involved.
