That is, when I'm not helping my school's anime club run Gameshow.

I probably won't be in the game room too much, unless they have setups where you can hook up your own controller or they supply an arcade stick that isn't too terrible. In that case, I would play GG and SSFIV, and BBCS if I feel like relearning Arakune.

Xithmos Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Well I had fun at Otakon this weekend. I got some Blazblue practice in which is good. I got to play a decent Lambda, Litchi, and two Tager players. I didn't get to enter the tournament since I had to leave at like 9:30 p.m. :/ Congrats to the Litchi player that won! I also saw Christina Vee in the dealers room today. I got a few autographs as well as a free poster. :3 She also said 'hands off the panda' for me and my friend. 'twas amazing.

Glad he won though, he deserved it :D . Only got annoyed when the Tager in the finals got loud when he landed one 720. edit* Did I end up playing you randomly Xithmos? Xithmos Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I ended up rematching the Litchi player like 10+ times yesterday. I won maybe 3-4 matches against the guy. He told me that he was winning the tournament for me too (since I couldn't enter :x), so that made me happy! Sadly he plays on PSN so I can't spar with him ever again. People were getting hype for the stupidest of things. 720's, random distortions, etc. It slightly annoyed me. You would know if you played me. I was the only Carl player. D: I fought maybe 2 Noels yesterday, so I possibly fought you. I mainly played on the setup with the sticks (across from where Halo 3 was at). EDIT: Now that you mention it I did lose to a Noel that landed a random air distortion... Maybe it was you o_O

Probably would have said more if we could have used our sticks in free play and not just the tourney. Only reason I was lugging that freaking Nintendo bag.

I was gonna ask what was in it, but I was too hype to play Carl. Did the winners of the tournament win a prize (besides a photo on their website >_>)? It did make me rofl at the sight of people offline mashing on an arcade stick.

Yeah my purple PS3 stick was in there and a bottle of water. I'm pretty sure I was the only person there with a purple stick in the tourney.

Let's hope that one day we'll be able to play either AC or future GG installment online instead of having to play at conventions miles away. Keep the GG alive!

I was looking for it to get some mashing in but didn't see it. You were playing CA/LA? If so, then no - I don't remember playing any Carls I don't think, and no other Lambdas. Maybe one on Friday, but only for one round. Also, stuck to the Horis though I was carrying around my TE in a backpack .
