noctivagous Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Looks like Valkenhayn is going to have a extra meter. I wonder if it's used for his drive or if he is just in some kind of blood kain state in that screen shot.

Phaseshift Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 We know that Rachel is holding back her powers because she hate her vampire nature. I pretty sure that sometime in the future installments we will see her fighting a full power. Maybe to save her future lover *cough* Ragna. Maybe she eve has a adult form. It could be that the reason she looks like a child is because she suppressing her powers. That indeed would be cool.

Akiro Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Though, I kinda wonder the reason why Trinity is eyeing Bang. Sena is lord Tenjo's son, -ba dum tiss-

If Altrouge supposedly looks like a fourteen year old but has a more powerful, other form... I see no reason why a vampire like Rachel wouldn't have something similar like that, hehe. Of course, if Rachel dies by the end of BB, well.... (And I think it's possible too. Nu died didn't she? Rachel could become something like Ragna's familiar if she gets killed or something like that.)

Rachel is immortal afaik, she cant die as long as she has a reason to stay in the world, that reason being Ragna. And since the main character usually don't die, i think its safe to say that Rachel is immortal.

ChrisX Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 If I may have another speculation... As it is, I would say that Tsubaki is slightly doomed, but Litchi is completely doomed. Tsubaki has the advantage of being a friend of most of the main cast (and especially Jin and Hakumen). Litchi, on the other hand, has no such thing and I wouldn't be surprised that Jin and Hakumen decided that she is an enemy to the world and thus is obliged to kill her just like they plan to destroy Terumi, without even trying to hear her situation. Somewhere like Litchi telling them that she had no choice, but Jin/Hakumen shuts her up and attacks her anyway, because "No matter the reason, allying with Terumi means you're prepared to be killed by my hand!". It doesn't help that she has disappointed many of the higher beings, such as Rachel (attacking her in the CS) and Jubei (ignoring his warnings in CT). I wouldn't be surprised if both Rachel and Jubei give an OK to destroying her, because she disregarded what they said for the greater good of the world. So even if we audience know Litchi is sympathetic and still good, I speculate that most of the protagonist (Jin, Hakumen, Rachel, Jubei) will consider her extremely bad and will have no qualms in killing her (Ragna/Noel might not, since they had Taokaka accompanying them and she could try to reason them), when compared to Tsubaki. Just my speculation, but... what do you think?
Shadow Draygon Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 People who go evil should stay evil. None of this heartsy redemption crap.
Zeru Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I think that Bang will end up saving her. I'm more certain that there is no hope for Arakune, and he either needs to be put out of his misery or have a moment of sanity and perform a heroic sacrifice to save Litchi.

I'm more certain that there is no hope for Arakune, and he either needs to be put out of his misery or have a moment of sanity and perform a heroic sacrifice to save Litchi. actually, Terumi and Relius are looking pretty screwed right now..... atleast compared to that blind girl and those boobs with legs.
ChrisX Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 It is obvious that Bang will end up saving her. But before they could even meet, I'm pretty sure she'll bump into one of the protagonist, in which I could easily see Jin/Hakumen/Rachel/Jubei consider her a dirty traitor to the world and shows no mercy to her. And maybe Ragna too, before Taokaka intervenes...
Zeru Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 actually, Terumi and Relius are looking pretty screwed right now..... atleast compared to that blind girl and those boobs with legs. Well, them too, just saying that among the more sympathetic figures, Arakune is the most likely to die. I just hope the (supposedly) revived Nu-13 gets a shot at redemption, Lambda earned a lot of sympathy points imo.
pktazn Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I kinda hope she doesn't die in the third one. Again. Ya know, the only character that's died in both games
Hawka Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I don't have much of a theory but I thought I'd poise it to everyone anyway, does anyone have any thoughts as to why the NOL wanted Tenjou's body enough to cover it up the way they did, and what exactly they plan on doing with it?
Korigama Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 It is obvious that Bang will end up saving her. And maybe Ragna too, before Taokaka intervenes... To be honest, I think Hakumen is the only one of those four who would care all that much. Jin would probably just think "Pfft, whatever!" as usual, unless Litchi actually attempts to obstruct him again. It seems very unlikely that Rachel would be particularly interested one way or the other, and I question the chances of Litchi running into Jubei by then (who would likely consider Terumi and Relius to be of greater priority).
ChrisX Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Something just clicked me when I browse through and read spoilers for Ragna's joke end... Crimson Grimoire. As usual, the color red and blue are often considered a 'constantly rivaling color'. Azure is supposed to represent 'Blue'. I get a feeling that Crimson Grimoire is the rival of Azure Grimoire. It could be one of these: 1. The only thing that could rival the power of Azure Grimoire, or possibly destroy it. 2. Two halves of the actual Grimoire: Crimson and Azure. If combined, they will create an item so powerful that anything could be destroyed with it. My theories about this Crimson Grimoire is this: Perhaps Tenjou came to possess it and sealed inside his body. Terumi goes all the way to make sure the body is preserved so he can extract the Crimson Grimoire, and after that, if point 1 is correct, he will destroy it so that he will stay unopposed in terms of power. Or if point 2 is correct, he can ask Relius' help to combine his Azure with the Crimson, making an ultimate weapon for his own goal. If the next game is the end of the trilogy, then I would surmise that Crimson Grimoire won't be touched further. However, should ASW opens a new chapter of BlazBlue which is more than "Fight NOL and Terumi", I would surmise that the focus will be the Crimson Grimoire, and the ultimate battle between Azure (Ragna) and Crimson.
harmless kitten Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Something just clicked me when I browse through and read spoilers for Ragna's joke end... Crimson Grimoire. Yeah okay you're looking wayyyyyyyyy too much into things. The Crimson Grimoire is tuna. Though I'm sure it's delicious.
diospyros Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I don't have much of a theory but I thought I'd poise it to everyone anyway, does anyone have any thoughts as to why the NOL wanted Tenjou's body enough to cover it up the way they did, and what exactly they plan on doing with it? Before I start, let me reference something from the Mabinogion: a corpse can be reanimated on the conditions that it cannot speak. This got me thinking to Phantom, who not only cannot speak but is also speculated to be Nine(a very powerful witch). From what I understand,Phantom has been used as a slight power advantage for the antagonists. I think they're trying to use Tenjou's body the same way Phantom's body is being used right now, which is just to be a powerful tool. I think it's more than this, but this is what I can speculate based on what I know so far.
ChrisX Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Since it was at the Joke Ending, of course Crimson Grimoire looked like a tuna. But I'm just having a speculation that it's one thing to open up a new story arc, in case they're done with Terumi in the 3rd game.
Black Onslaught Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 No. It was a fucking tuna fish in a joke ending.
Shadow Draygon Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 No guys, he's on to something. The Crimson Grimoire is a tuna fish. And it's red. And we know Tao is always hanging out with Ragna. Who's coat is red. Just like the Grimoire. And Tao has Tuna Arms. Just like how Ragna has mechanical ones. WAIT. OH... MY... GOD... TAO CONFIRMED FOR WIELD OF THE CRIMSON GRIMOIRE.
