Hey I just made an account. The security question said "abbreviations are okay" so I put GGST and it didn't accept it. GGST should probably be an acceptable answer imo

The security questions are probably still from 2017, lmao

hi just wanted to make you aware when signing up on dark mode when you click off of the entry text boxes when you sign up they turn white which just makes the text you put in there unreadable. thank you for bringing back the forums!image.png.99fcfde67996518646e5fb0b172a6316.png

Some of these are really difficult to parse rn (and the eye icon for the spoiler button is completely invisible unless you hover over it).

updated with full white icons on the editor toolbar

Yeah I'm pretty sure its still working on the old terms and names. I essentially just put the full name of one of the games in the forum topics and it accepted it. Will most likely get changed at some point

When I visit the site on my phone, there’s these constant annoying ads.

The Google Ads weren't respecting our settings, so I just turned advertisements off entirely.

I don't have strong opinions on this but I feel like (unless my settings are weird) there's a lot of dead space in the display right now. I'm wondering if the forums are designed for older monitors that weren't as wide. I'm not sure if widening would make the text feel too thin or have weird interactions with mobile, but I figured I'd raise the issue.image.thumb.png.5b0eba786522a0d62631405555a017ff.png

Honestly old monitor design *didn't* fix the width. On a 4:3 screen you didn't have to worry about hilariously hard to read long paragraphs. Widescreen made max widths more common.

... But back then you'd do 2 or 3 column designs, and now you ALSO have to support mobile so everything lacks good sidebar content and we're cursed forever with dead space. The layout here could probably work with a bit wider and maybe a beefier font if Tarkus wanted to play with that, but honestly my recommendation is just zoom in the website, which is what I do.

... Alternatively, even bigger avatars. Just think about how much of Tarkus's dog we could be seeingimage.thumb.png.5d2514983d318c3d45c969945cb8c771.png

Could you change the hyperlink colors to be a color other than black by default? They look like regular underlined text until you hover over them. Maybe if they were the same reddish color we have in the theme here.

Talking about links in posts, that is.

I increased the width of the forum to fill the page, but in the process the site theme editor bugged out and corrupted some of my old settings, so 1 step forward 1 step back.
