I had two threads in the Guilty room.

Guilty Gear 2: overture basics guides

and

GG2 video thread.

I can replace the basics guide thread but I can't replace the video thread. someone PLEASE tell me they can recover that thread. I had a lot of hard work put into it.

uh, about a month or so ago. the latest is about two months. I'm not too certain the exact date, but roughly around a month or two.

you see, I did that with my guides on GG2, so that's safe, but I never suspected the forum to crash like this, so I didn't make a backup for the links posted in my GG2 video thread. there was also combo inputs for certain videos, so there was more than just links in that thread.

I'm certain now, the GG2 video thread is about a month old. it was posted around the end of October.

I think making an announcement of backing up some important posts would be nice, so this doesn't happen to anyone in the future. theres no guarantee that the work posted on this site will stay safe, as I have just witnessed.

currently having an issue with editing a post in the guilty room. won't process the edit. strange. I have tested it out on a separate post of mine right here on this thread and got the same result.

That happens randomly. During those times your posts will take FOREVERR and after a few minutes it'll act like you haven't posted yet, but you actually have, and it'll say you can't post more than once a minute.

Delete everyones account who was created post BBCT release date, and a month before.

theres my fucking suggestion.

i cant read shit on this sight for BB without reading a ton of worthless filler posts from people who are just theory fighting or online matchup experience. My brain feels warped. I just dont want to read shit from people who havent played a game, or played a game at high enough level for their info to be relevant in a match.

It is very possible that the mods can do a huge wipe of their forums and allow only the legit info to survive, but that would require hours of time per person. Perhaps you would be willing to help us out by letting us know which posts are filled with worthless drivel?

if not for a job, and a life, and a wantingness to actually still play games with friends, i would. But i try to find something very specific it takes me forever. Pretty much all of the CS threads in general need to have huge purges. Henaki's thread, for example, needs atleast 1/4 to 1/2 of what was written to be deleted.

If i ever lose my job though i would SERIOUSLY think about offering up my trolling services to clean up this once great site.

ALso, delete all the mike z hey ill suck your dick posts in the video posting thread(tager) and infract ANYONE who posts something that isnt actually about the videos or posting new ones. I fucking hate that shit. about 1/2 of those posts are COMPLETELY useless.

EDIT: Ok, tager vid thread, posts...7-11,16,19-25,29-38,44,45,47-64 and 69 dont even add remotely anything to the thread. at all. God i hate being so bored i actually read that shit on break at work.

Not all forums are like that, the bang forums not filled with too much shit.

Yeah i would go through matchups threads but i 1)dont have the best experience and 2)dont have enough time so sift that much. Just threads i use ill go over though definatly.
